A magical Malibu wedding at Calamigos Ranch that had the most romantic first dance to the tunes of 'I'll Be'.
For Canadian model and actor Nick Bateman and his long-time girlfriend Maria Corrigan, it was time for new beginnings when the duo decided to say ‘I do’. The couple who had welcomed their son Chase in September 2018 created another personal milestone with their magical Malibu wedding.
The ceremony took place at the Calamigos Ranch where they wed near a beautiful waterfall, surrounded by tall trees, and in the presence of their loved ones. Planned by Charley King of Bluebell Events, the event came alive with white decor accents, flowers, fairy lights and chandeliers. Maria opted to wear a delicate white gown designed by Trish Peng which incorporated floral accents and a floor-length train. Nick donned a classic black tuxedo for this special occasion.
Their outdoor wedding was followed by an indoor reception where the couple shared their first dance on one of Edwin McCain’s most popular songs, ‘I’ll Be.’ The decor at this function was conceptualized and executed by Butterfly Floral & Event Design, and comprised of lush foliage, fresh white and peach blooms, along with lots of candles.
The bride broke the news of their wedding to their Instagram followers with a post that read, “Officially Mrs. Bateman! What an amazing day with all my favorite people. Love you all and thank you to everyone who made our day as amazing as it was ? #MariaTookTheBate.” The groom, on the other hand, shared a picture of their first kiss with a caption that said, “You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.”
