An intimate ceremony in the idyllic surroundings of Santa Barbara marked the wedding of sweethearts, Tom Ellis and Meaghan Oppenheimer.
After a four-year relationship, Tom Ellis, the dashing devil from the Netflix show ‘Lucifer’ married screenwriter and producer Meaghan Oppenheimer in an intimate wedding on June 4, 2019. The nuptials were hosted at the Grassini Family Vineyards in Santa Barbara.
Ellis gave his fans and social media followers a treat as he shared the first photo of him and Oppenheimer as husband and wife. The couple were seen standing next to a rowboat, which was also supposedly their mode of transport to leave for their honeymoon or so Tom’s light-hearted caption would have you believe.
For the wedding ceremony, Meaghan wore a bespoke pristine white lace gown by Naeem Khan and held a matching white wedding bouquet. She also shared a photo with her husband from their first dance which left fans swooning.
Giving her followers a little sneak-peek into the wedding, the bride shared a photo clicked by a bridesmaid with the caption, “This was taken by @thegirlnamedkate as my bridesmaids were being shuttled to the venue. All day we’d been so scared the rain would ruin our ceremony and reception – to the point where we had to rush through our photos because we were getting swept away by wind – but then right before I walked down the aisle I looked at the sky and said out loud… ‘Stop fucking raining!’ And….it worked! The rain cleared thirty seconds later and we had what was literally the most fun party of my life. Here’s to witchcraft.”
Besides immediate family, the guests included Tom’s ‘Lucifer’ co-stars including Lauren German, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Chris Payne Gilbert, D.B. Woodside, Kevin Alejandro and his wife Leslie, Aimee Garcia, Rachael Harris and her husband Christian Hebel. The stars shared some photos on social media while some candid shots also started doing the rounds online.
The couple received many congratulatory messages from loved ones and fans on the occasion of their marriage.
