Meera Chopra and Rakshit Kejriwal, Jaipur

Actress and cousin of superstar Priyanka Chopra, Meera Chopra tied the knot with her businessman beau Rakshit Kejriwal in Jaipur. The actress who has starred in movies, like, Section 375, 1920 London and Gang of Ghosts, is known to be a very private individual. Hence we were not surprised that most details of her celebrations were kept under wraps. The March wedding took place at the ‘Pink City’ Jaipur where Meera celebrated her big day with about 150 guests.

The two-day destination wedding followed all Hindu rituals and traditions. Attended mostly by her family and friends and several prominent names in B-Town, the wedding was hosted at Buena Vista Luxury Garden Spa Resort. Located approximately 45 minutes away from Jaipur International Airport, the resort is nestled by the Aravalli Hills in Amer near Kukas. Buena Vista run by French entrepreneur Jean Luc Benhaim is equipped with 52 suites and villas and multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces.

For her wedding, Meera chose a traditional red lehenga with heavy gold embroidery. Pairing this outfit with emerald and polki-encrusted jewellery and muted makeup, Meera looked stunning as she walked down the sunlit acrylic aisle. Rakshit, on the other hand, cut a striking contrast with his ivory sherwani. The mandap was adorned with garlands of gypsos and exuded a whimsical, dreamy vibe. White blooms lined the aisle while its transparent surface gave a sneak peek to the pink blooms underneath it.
