Telugu actress and producer Niharika Konidela tied the knot with Hyderabad based techie Chaitanya JV in a star-studded royal celebration at The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur on Wednesday, December 9th. Posts by the actress and her friends and family that include some of the biggest names in Tollywood took Instagram by storm as they geared up for the destination wedding, arriving at Udaipur in style.
The couple had announced their engagement in August, and the pre-wedding festivities were hosted at her Hyderabad home, starting on Sunday. Niharika’s father, the acclaimed actor-producer Naga Babu shared heart-melting posts of the celebrations, including pics of the actress with her uncle and superstar Chiranjeevi, as well as with the rest of the family. The bride looked radiant in her mother’s stunning blue saree and ornate gold jewelry for one of the functions.
Adorably captioned posts by the bride and her father as well as her cousin and actor Allu Arjun of their arrival in Udaipur by Chartered flights were trending on Monday, getting everyone revved up for the upcoming revelries. The evening began with a glamorous Sangeet brimming with gorgeous decor, dreamy lights, and dazzling performances that lit up the night. Niharika flaunted a deep teal couture piece by Shantanu and Nikhil with a chic sleek hairdo and stunning diamonds, while Chaitanya looked diving in an ivory embroidered sherwani by Kunal Rawal. The couple set the dance floor on fire grooving to Chiranjeevi’s iconic songs. Pics show Ram Charan and Allu Arjun and their wives dressed to the nines as they smile happily.
The next day saw a vibrant sundowner Mehndi for which Niharika first flaunted a stylish ruched lilac gown, changing later into a colorful lehenga by Aisha Rao. Her feminine, quirky look with flowing curls was perfectly complemented by Chaitanya’s mustard Bandi ensemble.
The final day began with a poolside sunkissed haldi for the radiant couple, who wore matching yellow ensembles, followed by a fun-filled mangalsnanam that had everyone laughing and enjoying as they got doused with water.
For the wedding ceremony, Niharika looked every bit the stunning South Indian bride in a red and gold kanjeevaram pattu teamed with an embroidered green blouse. Dazzling traditional jewelry, muted makeup, and flowers in her hair finished her look. Chaitanya opted for a rich copper and gold sherwani that perfectly complemented her look, as well as the gold saree she later donned. The beautiful couple can be seen smiling joyously in the pics shared on social media, along with their gorgeously dressed family.
