The World Billiard Champion tied the knot with celebrity makeup artist Saniya Shadadpuri in a majestic pastel-hued wedding ceremony.
23 times World Champion in Billiards and Snooker, Pankaj Advani kicked off 2021 on a fabulous note with his wedding to his ladylove and celebrity Makeup Artist Saniya Shadadpuri in Mumbai. The power couple shared the news on social media with beautiful shots of the festivities, captured by WeddingSutra Favorite – Cupcake Productions.
The celebrations kicked off with the pre-wedding festivities at Gallops restaurant in Mahalaxmi Racecourse. Donning a dapper tuxedo and a shimmering crimson gown, Pankaj and Saniya painted a pretty picture against the lush green backdrop, stunning floral décor, and fireworks for the Sangeet evening.
For their big day, the duo decided to keep it classic and elegant by using pastel peach, pink and white hues for the decor. Dressed in a soft peach lehenga with delicate gold threadwork, Saniya glowed with happiness as she tied the knot with Pankaj who complemented her in a white sherwani paired with a peach turban. Surrounded by their loved ones with beautiful garlands crafted out of roses and baby’s breath dangling from their necks, the newlyweds looked picture perfect.
The newly married couple shared a glimpse of their formal Cocktail Reception at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu. Dressed in a dapper tuxedo, Pankaj cut a sharp figure while Saniya looked elegant in a blush beaded gown with a thigh high slit. Pankaj captioned their picture on Instagram with a sweet pun, saying “When cue-pid strikes”.
The Bengaluru-based ace cueist, widely regarded as one of the world’s best, made his International debut in 1999, going on to win colossal accolades, along with numerous world titles, including the Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan. Saniya, a celebrity Makeup artist, made her Bollywood debut with Shudh Desi Romance, and has since gone on to work with Taapsee Pannu, Bipasha Basu, Dia Mirza, Vani Kapoor, Natasha Poonawala, and many others.
