Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, Udaipur
After years of speculation, the actor duo sealed their quiet love story with an intimate yet fun destination wedding in Udaipur.
After years of quiet speculation and carefully guarded appearances, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have finally tied the knot. One of the industry’s most closely watched yet discreet pairs, they kept their relationship firmly under wraps. And, after years of dating, the duo has finally decided to take the plunge with a luxurious yet intimate wedding in Udaipur. From sunlit, high-energy afternoons to an evening defined by curated luxury, the celebration balanced ease with elegance.

The festivities began with a spirited poolside gathering set against a sweeping mountain backdrop. Guests traded formal attire for relaxed resort wear and stepped into a lively round of volleyball and pool pong, lending the occasion an atmosphere of effortless camaraderie. The mood was animated yet refined, reflecting the couple’s preference for authenticity over excess.

As dusk settled in, the energy softened. The vibrant splash of the infinity pool gave way to the warm glow of candlelight at an intimate pre-wedding dinner. At the centre of the setting was a meticulously styled tablescape featuring hand-embroidered napkins inscribed with the couple’s hashtag, ‘Virosh’, a subtle yet personal detail woven seamlessly into the refined aesthetic. A sophisticated Japanese non-vegetarian menu underscored the evening’s cosmopolitan tone and added depth to the experience.
On day 2, the couple along with their loved ones hosted a fun cricket match named ‘Virosh Premier League’. At a time when weddings are becoming increasingly unconventional and personality-led, their celebration stood out for reimagining traditional functions. The festivities began with a fully stylised in-house cricket tournament designed as a branded, high-energy sporting spectacle. The sunlit cricket match included a plethora of details like miniature flags, bats, medals and popcorn buckets with ‘virosh’ on it.

The sunkissed haldi ceremony was bathed in hues of yellow and orange. Rattan backed chairs, checkered yellow tablecloths, bright parasols and illustrations of the couple’s fur babies adorned the venue.

For the mehndi and pradhanam, the couple kept it intimate and lively. With the rituals commencing in the day and the mehndi celebration going well into the evening, the event was a fast-paced one with colorful floral decor that looked right at home with the greenery of the venue. Rashmika looked stunning in a heavily embellished forest green and maroon hued off shoulder lehenga, while Vijay matched up in a maroon bandhgala with gold threadwork and a contrasting blue veshtii.

The sangeet night was a warm, soulful gathering, with the evening drawing inspiration from the relaxed charm of an English countryside barn, layered with vintage-boho accents and softly lit corners that created an inviting, almost backyard-like atmosphere. Vijay made a striking entrance in a navy dragon-embellished velvet open jacket paired with an open-neck silk shirt, a layered stole, a tonal cummerbund and shoes. At the same time, a regal ice-blue cape added a theatrical flourish to his princely presence. Rashmika complemented the mood in a fluid, ethereal ensemble dusted with silver and deep blue crystal constellations that shimmered as she twirled across the floor, making it feel as though the night itself moved with her. Adding a playful touch to the evening was a custom feature titled ‘Rumours Come True’, a cheeky nod to the love story that guests were finally celebrating together.

The wedding was a joyous affair bathed in sunlight. With a mandap adorned with white jasmines, the couple looked beautiful in their traditional outfits. Rashmika wore a stunning warm orange saree and Vijay matched her with a gold threadwork shawl and a white dhoti. Both of them wore heavy gold temple jewellery to finish off the look.

After their destination wedding celebrations in Udaipur, Rashmika and Vijay hosted an elegant reception at Taj Krishna in Hyderabad, bringing their loved ones together for an evening of warmth and celebration. Rashmika looked radiant in a rich red Mysore silk saree that exuded timeless grace, while Vijay complemented her effortlessly in a pristine white silk angavastram and dhoti set. The evening unfolded in a mood of understated sophistication, honouring tradition while celebrating the beginning of their new chapter together. Brimming with designs that fused Gatsby-inspired elements with Indian designs, the reception looked glamorous with white, green and gold hues. Foliage, pearls, crystal chandeliers and brass knick-knacks made the space come alive.
