While we got a share of the spark and shine of a big fat celebrity wedding, this weekend marked the start of a new beginning for Shriya Bhupal. The mastermind behind the premium fashion label, Shriya Som, tied the knot with her now husband, Anindith Reddy. With Shriya being the granddaughter of Hyderabad tycoon, Dr. GVK Reddy and Anindith belonging to the Apollo Hospitals family, their wedding truly formed an epitome of elegance and royalty.
After an intimate engagement at home, the couple hosted a lavish pre-wedding masquerade ball at the historic Château de Chantilly earlier this year. Dressed in a dazzling Giambattista Valli tiered gown for the event, the bride-to-be looked no less than red carpet perfection.
Wedding Venue
Following the extravagant ball, the grand pre-wedding party held last week marked the start to a chain of grand revelries in Hyderabad. The scenic property of Taj Krishna was the venue for a glamorous evening, the sangeet. The marriage ceremony was held at Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre after which, the glorious Taj Falaknuma Palace made the venue for a magical post wedding party.
Adding to the grandeur of the wedding was the beautifully designed and thoughtfully created décor by 3D Decor by Dinaz Noria.
Sangeet
A night of fun and madness had the perfect royal touch to it as Shriya looked no less than a princess in a ravishing Elie Saab gown, tailored to perfection and accessorized with a diamond maang tikka. As they stood hand in hand, Anindith looked like the perfect knight, dressed in a formal black suit and white shirt.
Wedding
Solemnised by Sadhguru, Jaggi Vasudev, the couple tied the knot on July 6, 2018. For this auspicious occasion, the bride chose a heavy Tarun Tahiliani embellished saree that gave her an ethereal look. Paired with all diamond jewellery, including earrings, neckpiece and bracelet, she left a bit of sparkle with every step. Anindith complimented the bride in a Tarun Tahiliani cream sherwani with a heavy royal stole.
After the pheras, the couple changed into another glamorous look for the jaimala ceremony. Dressed in a pastel pink lehenga, Shriya turned eyes as she paired her outfit with a stylish sheer veil and intricate diamond jewellery. Anindith chose an elegant pink sherwani and paired it with a delicately embellished turban.
Reception
The newly married couple made a royal appearance as they walked hand in hand for the reception. Shriya looked stunning in Marchesa ruffle gown while Anindith looked dapper in a tailored Tom Ford suit.
Beautifully captured by Stories by Joseph Radhik, the wedding saw the arrival of the creme de la creme of the town and the reception saw the presence of popular personalities including, Namrata Shirodhkar, Pinky Reddy, Upasana Kamineni with her husband Ram Charan, Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan, Kanika Kapoor, designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla among others.
