Siddharth Chopra, brother of Priyanka Chopra, tied the knot with actress Neelam Upadhyay!
Attended by close friends and family, including Priyanka Chopra’s in-laws and husband Nick Jonas, the intimate celebrations were hosted close to Mrs Madhu Chopra’s home in Andheri West, with the main wedding function at the Army Club in Juhu and the Mehendi and Cocktail at Sun-n-Sand Hotel.
After some pre-wedding festivities at their residence, the Haldi Brunch at the Army Club kicked off the celebrations. Planned by WeddingSutra Favorites Believe Weddings and Mpire Events, the vibrant, sun-kissed soiree saw traditional marigold decor that lit up the lush lawns, and the bride looked radiant with her floral adornments as she entered under a phoolon-ka-chadar. Photos and videos from the lively event show the happy family dancing and having a blast.
The revelries were followed by the Mehndi and Cocktail evening at Juhu’s Sun N Sand Hotel, with a dress code of “Shake a Leg” Indian that set the tone for the lively get-together. Dressed in a charming floral gown, Priyanka Chopra was captured posing with her in-laws.
The Sangeet night had a “Fun and Fabulous” dress theme. It was an intimate yet glamorous affair with the highlight being performances by the families, including Mumbai’s favorite Jeeju Nick Jonas. The food spread was a delicious mix of winter favorites from Punjab, Mumbai street food, and global specialties curated by the chefs of The Club Mumbai. Priyanka Chopra dazzled in a stunning midnight blue outfit by Falguni and Shane Peacock, and her father-in-law won hearts with his gesture when he thanked the paparazzi and offered them sweets.
With their Fauji roots, the Chopras chose the Army Club as the venue for the wedding too. The “Glam Indian Shaadi” was an intimate affair with #faujifeels.
The finale function was the after-party at Andheri West’s newest celebration venue – Ballroom by Butterfly High. Guests savored the delicacies prepared by chefs from the venue’s two popular restaurants in BKC, Mumbai; Butterfly High and Kyma – Mushroom Crostinis, Dynamite Prawns, an artisanal hummus grazing table, and midnight ‘comfort’ foods such as Kheema Pao mini sliders and Korean Chilli Maggi.
The couple reportedly met on a dating app and got engaged in August 2024, after their roka ceremony in April 2024. A trained professional Chef and Filmmaker, Siddharth Chopra is best known for his food ventures and Production Company. Neelam Upadhyay is an actress known for her work in Tamil and Telugu Cinema.
