Aditi Rao Hydari
Traditionally chic and effortlessly elegant, the actress’ wedding wardrobe consisted of simple sarees, flamboyant shararas and a vivid yet minimalistic red lehenga.
Married to: Siddharth
Date: 16th September 2024
Aditi Rao is well known for her whimsical fashion choices that take inspiration from classic styles. And, as she tied the knot with her beau, actor Siddharth, it was no surprise that she chose a melange of simple yet ethereal outfits that fit seamlessly with her personal style.
Temple wedding
The couple first tied the knot at the Sri Ranganayakaswamy Temple in Wanaparthy, Telangana, where Aditi traces her ancestry. Aditi let the majestic temple backdrop do the talking as she wore a sheer ivory saree with subtle gold polka dots and a zari border. Fragrant mogra blooms in her hair, along with ruby and Kundan-encrusted gold jewellery, accessorised the look.
Mehndi
The festivities in Rajasthan started with a mehndi, which, true to her style, Aditi kept extremely simple with crescent designs. Her outfit was fuss-free with a black sharara paired with a short white kurta and lime green dupatta. Statement chaandbali jhumkas dangled from her ears.
Wedding
Aditi’s red wedding lehenga made a vibrant splash. With a wide zari border on the hem and a full-sleeve choli, the outfit made jaws drop with its simplicity and striking hue. The scallop-edged dupatta, the statement matha-patti, and the enamelled jhumkas with matching gold necklace synced in perfectly with the burnished gold embellishments of the lehenga.
