Italian heiress and TV personality Béatrice Borromeo married Pierre Casiraghi, Princess Grace of Monaco’s grandson, and the son of Princess Caroline of Hanover in Monaco in two ceremonies.
The civil ceremony took place in the Salon des Glaces and was followed by a carnival themed garden party in the Palace’s grounds. the Italian heiress wore a custom-made pale pink dress with gold lace designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, creative directors of Valentino which she accessorized with a garland of violet and yellow flowers.
One week later, the couple invited their guests to join them for a religious ceremony in the Borromean islands in Lake Maggiore, which belong to the Borromeo family, for which the bride called upon Armani to create two stunning dresses for the church and the reception. The first gown was crafted from ivory Chantilly lace and silk chiffon along with a tulle veil, also embellished with Chantilly lace. Later in the day, she changed into a second dress made from white silk tulle by Giorgio Armani Privé , featuring a plunging neckline and a pleated silk tulle train, fastened by two wing-shaped diamond brooches.
