TV actress and ex Bigg Boss contestant, Kamya Punjabi tied the knot with her beau Shalabh Dang, a healthcare professional and her wedding pictures made a splash across social media channels. Surrounded by friends and family, all the events had plenty of desi elements in order to match Kamya’s bubbly personality.
The Invite:

A hand-painted creation with bold colors, Indian motifs with a detailed miniature elephant and red stilettos, this invite combined Kamya’s glamour and with Shalabh’s down-to-earth personality and made for one unique invite.
For the bachelorette, Kamya went desi with a modern twist to make sure her gang and she didn’t miss out on any fun. She accessorized her zari bordered skirt and strappy top with a traditional choker and sneakers for a truly, out-of-the-box look.
Held at a gurudwara, the engagement saw close family in attendance. The huge rock on her finger reflected every light in the room but nothing could rival the to-be-bride’s smile as her beau went down on a knee to ask for her hand. Looking vibrant in a black and gold gara-kurta set paired with a lime green dupatta, Kamya and Shalabh exuded happy vibes.
For the haldi ceremony, Kamya decided to keep it simple with a yellow kurta paired with chunky, traditional earrings. As the bride was doused in haldi, not even her well wishers were spared. Filled with plenty of playful banter, dance and masti, this event left everyone in a gleeful mood.
For the ‘Mehndi Ki Rasam’ Kamya donned a shimmery, one shoulder lehenga and danced her way into the night surrounded by her gals pals.
Traditional ruby red was Kamya’s colour of choice for the wedding ceremony while the groom complimented her with a golden sherwani. Kamya carried plenty of blessings around with her on her customised latkan that had the words ‘sada saubhagyawati bhava’ embroidered on it. An ornate nathani, maang tikka, necklace and gajra in her hair completed her ‘desi bride’ look. The traditional Punjabi ceremony had plenty of guests from the TV industry and the actress herself was all smiles as the couple took their pheras.
For the reception, Kamya chose a dark green embellished gown that amped up the glamour quotient of the evening. Paired with traditional gold toned jewellery and golden boots to accentuate the embellishments of her lehenga, the bride glowed as she posed with her better half who sported a black sherwani. The newly married couple got a roaring welcome to the beats of the dhol and even showed off a few moves for the shutterbugs. Attended by her friends from the TV industry, the reception was a grand affair and the party carried on till the wee hours of the night.
