Date: 12th December, 2024
Married to: Antony Thattil
When actress Keerthy Suresh wed longtime partner Antony Thattil in a stunning celebration that spanned temples and tropical coastlines, her bridal wardrobe told a story that was as cinematic as her career, rooted in tradition yet effortlessly contemporary, each ensemble, from a restored heirloom saree to a couture white gown, reflected her belief that style is most powerful when it carries memory.

Wedding Functions
Mehendi
For her Mehendi, Keerthy embraced Bollywood-kitsch in a custom lehenga by Papa Don’t Preach by Shubhika, marrying South Indian motifs with subtle carnival-inspired details. The skirt featured playful prints accented with gold metalwork, pearls, and sequins, while the 3D floral bralette blouse added texture with glass-cut beads and crystals. A soft pink tulle dupatta, finished with an acrylic border and scattered pearls, completed the look

Tamil Brahmin Iyengar Wedding
Keerthy’s multiple wedding looks set the tone for her minimalist yet meaningful bridal aesthetic. The Dasar actress was resplendent in a parrot green madisar saree that was draped in the Iyengar Kattu style, while her groom looked dashing in a gold-cream-coloured veshti. Keerthy’s bridal look was elevated by traditional Bharatanatyam jewellery, featuring the Vanki (armlet) for a regal touch, layered Attikai and Haaram necklaces for depth and grace, and the Maanga Tikka or Netti Chutti, a classic South Indian forehead ornament.

For one of her most emotional looks, Keerthy wore a 30-year-old banarasi saree belonging to her mother, actress Menaka Suresh, lovingly refurbished by designer Anita Dongre. The vintage weave, resplendent with silver floral motifs, was paired with a classic round-neck blouse and striking ruby and polki diamond bridal jewelry from Jos Aukkas. “I found it tucked away in my mother’s wardrobe,” Keerthy revealed. “It was a way of carrying her love and legacy with me.” The heirloom piece became the emotional centerpiece of her wedding trousseau – a reminder that sometimes the most modern gesture is to honor the past.

Malayali Ceremony
For her Malayali ceremony, Keerthy Suresh wore a Kerala-inspired ensemble by Tiya Neil Karikkassery, blending traditional motifs with modern elegance. The look featured intricate embroidery and cutwork inspired by Pooram festivals, elephants, and swaying coconut palms. Her jewellery, by Ashaa Sebastian Mattathil, including a bold Elakkathali choker, the Pavan Mala with parrot motifs and Neelathamara leaves, matching jhumkas, bangles, and statement rings, added contemporary flair while honoring Kerala’s rich heritage.

Christian Wedding
Keerthy walked down the aisle for a sunset ceremony by the beach in a custom Zuhair Murad lace gown – a sculpted vision of elegance. The gown featured intricate lace embroidery, crystal beadwork, and an A-line silhouette that flowed into a sweeping train. A sheer, floor-length veil framed her face, while emerald stud earrings lent a subtle pop of color to her otherwise monochrome palette.
Her hair, softly styled in loose waves, and minimal dewy makeup completed the look – a vision of modern romance with timeless poise.

Cocktail Reception
Keerthy Suresh closed her wedding festivities in style, wearing a custom emerald green Astin Stripe Saree by Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna for her cocktail reception – a striking, ultra-glamorous OOTD that perfectly wrapped up the celebrations.
