Television actress Kishwer Merchant married longtime boyfriend Suyyash Rai in the most stylish fervor on the 16th of December in Mumbai. Popularly nicknamed as #SukishKiShaadi in social media, the wedding commenced with a pre-wedding shoot, a fun mehndi and haldi ceremony and a star studded reception.
For the Mehndi ceremony, Kishwer took the boho route and donned a bright turquoise crop top and yellow dhoti pants from Kalki Fashion. She accessorized her outfit with some colorful reflector glasses to complete her quirky look.
For a free-spirited sangeet ceremony, Kishwer chose a traditional green sharara and accessorized it with with jewellery from Johri by Amaze Jewels to celebrate her Muslim lineage.
Since the couple had a private court wedding, she wore a gorgeous red lehenga that was gifted to her by close friend and rakhi-brother Prince Narula, whom she had met on the popular celebrity show- Big Boss.
The couple hosted a grand reception that was attended by the who’s who of the television industry and included popular faces such as Ritvik Dhanjani, Karan Wahi, Krystal D’ Souza, Rimi Sen, Prince Narula, Yuvika Choudhary, Ravi Dubey with wife Sargun, Sukirti Khandpal, Keith Sequeira and Rochelle Rao among others. Kishwer looked every bit of the blushing bride with her mermaid cut, peach ruffled lehenga by Gaurav Gupta, which she accessorized with a stunning choker necklace and chandelier earrings from Narayan Jewelers.
