From a customized sari to an embellished gown, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu's wedding celebrations looks were exquisitely unique.
One of South India’s biggest stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu got married to actor Naga Chaitanya in a lavish wedding in Goa.
Married to: Naga Chaitanya
On: October 6, 2017
They fell in love on the sets of their first film together. From working together to tying the knot and walking down the aisle, Samantha and Naga’s multi-ceremony nuptials were a celebration of their journey of love.
Samantha stole the limelight on her engagement night in her cream Koëcsh by Krésha Bajaj saree that had the couple’s cherished moments woven into the six yards with gold aari and zardozi embroideries. This customized wonder featuring contemporary scenes was paired with a strappy blouse and elegant jewellery.
Clad in a peach and powder-blue lehenga, Samantha was a vision of elegance in her mehndi and sangeet ensemble. Designed by Koëcsh, the lehenga was heavily embellished with a net dupatta, adding a touch of femininity. She chose a maang tikka and earrings to complete her graceful look.
For her wedding, Samantha wore Naga Chaitanya’s grandmother’s sari and teamed it up with a pretty maroon Sabyasachi blouse with gold threadwork featuring floral motifs. She looked trendy yet traditional in ornate gold temple jewellery, including a waistband and armbands from NAC Jewellery.
The beautiful Christian wedding in the church saw Samantha wearing a light purple gown with a train, again designed by Kresha Bajaj. She paired this with a single-strand diamond necklace and matching earrings.
For the grand wedding party, Samantha looked stunning in her dress designed by Anamika Khanna. She wore her dupatta like a jacket in the most fashionable manner.
Lastly, for the reception, Samantha dazzled in an embellished feathery gown by Falguni and Shane Peacock and paired the dreamy ensemble with a simple diamond necklace.
