Actress Surveen Chawla recently revealed she has been married for about two years now. Surveen, who always dreamed for a white wedding, had a secret ceremony in northern Italy amid close friends and family. Only recently Surveen shared pictures from her dreamy nuptials on her Instagram account.
The wedding was a two-day affair with a skit arranged by close friends for the couple the night before the ceremony. The next morning for the white wedding, Surveen chose a dreamy off-shoulder Cinderella gown with a plunging neckline. The tiered dress showcased minimalistic embroideries in white and silver. Her look was complete with a netted veil.
Surveen swooped up her hair in a bun to accentuate her slender shoulders and kept the jewellery to minimal with a simple necklace featuring a deep green pendant and matching chandelier earrings.
Akshay, on the other hand, chose a classic black and white tuxedo while exchanging vows. The couple then hosted a luncheon.
This was followed by a reception in the evening for which Surveen chose a shimmering red gown with a plunging neckline. The evening came to a close with rounds of speeches and a tonne of Punjabi Bollywood dance.
Surveen and Akshay will be tying the knot in an Indian ceremony in 2018.
