A globe-trotting honeymoon for Pippa and James included trips to French Polynesia, New Zealand, and Australia
After Pippa Middleton and James Matthews royal nuptials in Berkshire, England, the couple jetted off to Tetiaroa, an atoll in French Polynesia for a gorgeous honeymoon. The new Mr. and Mrs. Matthews reportedly stayed at the Brando, the most luxurious eco-friendly resort in the world, reportedly costing them a cool $5,500-a- night. The eco-resort is a champion of green practices and boasts pristine white sand beaches and palm tree–filled vistas. It also includes a slew of private villas and an impressive array of outdoor activities that guests can partake in. The spectacular lagoon, which is characterised by its turquoise waters, can also be explored by canoe, kayak or the ever-trendy paddleboard. The couple was also spotted taking a romantic sunset stroll along the white sandy beaches.
The Brando, French Polynesia
After spending a week in French Polynesia, Pippa and James flew to New Zealand and continued their honeymoon in Australia. The newlyweds arrived in Sydney and reportedly checked into the $18,000-a-night penthouse at the Park Hyatt hotel. The couple were spotted enjoying the outdoor activities that Sydney has to offer including jogging around the Opera House and scaling the Harbour Bridge at night. The couple also took a seaplane to fly to the Cottage Point Inn, an exclusive restaurant in the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park known for its A-list clientele.

Pippa Middleton and James Matthews’s honeymoon then continued on to a third destination: Sal Salis, a remote beach-side safari camp on the shores of the Ningaloo Reef, famous for its whale sharks and manta rays. ot far from the town of Exmouth, the eco-retreat offers a host of accommodation options. Many guests stay in “wilderness tents,” while others opt for the lodge. It’s believed the adventure-loving 33-year-old — who has competed in ultra-marathons — and her former racing car driver husband also went whale shark diving while at the resort.
