LA-based model, and influencer Alanna Pandey’s wedding to photographer and long-time boyfriend Ivor McCray at The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai with spectacular celebrations, brimming with striking decor and festivities. Imbibed with their love of nature, their wedding, dubbed “white whisper”, saw a fairytale-like, enchanted forest theme, and their wedding cake invoked the same essence of magic!
The epitome of paramour and opulence, Mumbai-based Tier Nom Patisserie’s creation drew inspiration from the couple’s vision with gilded florals in hues of blue and ivory, beaded with sugar crystals for a textured look. The chosen shades of bell blue, mauve, and navy blue complimented the neutral tones of ivory and warm gold highlights. Embellished with pearlescent jimmies and sugar crystals, the cake featured bas-relief art, brush embroidery, and ruffled petal work. Layered with a lightly flavored coconut vanilla cake and paired with fresh strawberry jam, blueberry compote, and mixed berries, this cake was a true marvel.
