‘Kala Chashma’ – The Party Anthem

The groovy beats, the gorgeous stars Katrina Kaif and Siddharth Malhotra and their gyrations ensured that the song ‘Kala Chashma’ from the recent movie ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ became a bonafide party song in India and abroad. After a touted 100 million views on YouTube, the track is being spun on loop in discos, pubs, marriages and even wedding videos.
Aanchal and Shray who got engaged recently took the hit track featuring rap and Punjabi lyrics a step further by having a ‘KalaChashma’-themed engagement party for their family and friends.
Styled somewhat like a music video, the engagement film is all about people of all ages having fun and dancing to celebrate the happy occasion. Going a step beyond just selfies and dance performances, the colour coordinated couple enter the venue jiving to the infectious beats of the Punjabi hit with their ‘kala chashmas’ on – and their friends follow suit.
To up the engagement swag game, the photo booth at the engagement was crafted out of repurposed Smirnoff vodka, beer, and wine bottles. Using empty suspended bottle decor with some florals is a creative method to make your event unique and quirky.
