Bhavna and James, Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort, Thailand

Koro Films shot and edited James and Bhavna's cross-cultural wedding celebrations in Thailand like one warm, joyful party.

“Every once in a while, two people meet and you know it’s meant to be! You know instantly that the stars have aligned and that their paths will bring them together, regardless of what the world may throw their way.” Shared as a toast for the couple, each word of the quote stands true as Bhavna and James walk towards each other with infectious smiles at the start of the video.

Captured by WeddingSutra Favourite – Koro Films, James and Bhavna’s cross-cultural marriage presents a kaleidoscope of emotions, rituals and some crazy dance moves, including that of an elephant, as everyone lets their hair down for a good time.

The lush environs of the tropical paradise that is the Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort in Thailand morph into a wedding destination as colorful decor, vibrantly dressed guests and candid emotions that are typical of a traditional Indian wedding come into play.

A peppy Bollywood song proves to be the foundation for the visual montage that follows in the first half of the wedding video, which changes to an English number in the second half. Half the fun comes from watching James’ friends having fun at an Indian wedding and participating in many of the beautiful Sindhi rituals.

Highpoints of the wedding film include the groom arriving for the pheras astride a majestic elephant to his friends wearing turbans and trying to dance to Bollywood numbers. The bride looks lovely posting in the resort’s charming environs at various points of the film, and her happiness is tangible in every frame.

A wedding done right is always a memorable party for everyone involved, and that’s exactly the spirit that Koro Films managed to capture at James and Bhavna’s wedding celebrations.
