Such was the case for Trisha and Aish who executed a photoshoot at the to-be bride’s former school. Trisha shares, “I wanted Aish to see where I grew up and hence, we made the decision to shoot at my school. It was more of a spontaneous shoot where we walked around the hills spotting different locations. There were a few places where we couldn’t shoot since they were highly secured and needed special permission”.

Hampi:

Varanasi:
Vibrant and overflowing with spiritual vibes, Varanasi may not be the first destination that comes to mind for a pre-wedding photoshoot. But nothing can quite match the scenic, quintessentially Indian sights it has to offer. Suhali and Harsh share, “We looked at a number of options, but the vibrant and scenic Banaras swept us off our feet. The beautiful ghats, the rawness of the city, the traditional elements and the rustic aura – all of it left us mesmerized. The highlight of our shoot was the inclusion of the sadhus who enhanced the whole authentic feel of the shoot.”

Manali:

Vani and Sarang, who specifically shot in old Manali share, “To find the best locations, don’t hesitate talking to local people because that’s how we got our first spot – it was where the ‘October’ movie bridge-shot was filmed. The whole team trekked for two hours to reach the spot, but it was worth it.”

Pangong Tso, Ladakh:
Encircled by barren snow-tipped peaks, the serenity of the Pangong Tso Lake leaves one spellbound. Spurred by their fascination for the destination and unfiltered beauty of Ladakh, Tanvi and Anmol orchestrated a stunning photoshoot by the clear blue lake. They share, “The cold there was definitely hard to deal with as our wardrobe didn’t help to combat the temperature or the winds of Pangong Lake. But the experience was worth so much more! Needless to say, I don’t think any other location would’ve fit our vision.”
Nubra Valley (Hundar Dessert), Ladakh:
Basking under bright sunshine and nestled amongst the mountains, Nubra Valley with its vast open spaces allows your creativity to flourish. Kunica and Rahul took full advantage of this as they executed a vivid Bollywood-inspired photoshoot at this gorgeous destination. Rahul shares, “Ladakh is one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen! But, shooting there was not easy as there were many challenges such as the weather and the way it affected us. The extremely sunny days at Nubra Valley (Hundar Dessert) were alot to deal with, but the end result was worth it!”
Khardung-La Mountain Pass, Ladakh:
The highest motorable pass in the world, the Khardung-La mountain pass with its snow-peppered surroundings, contrasting grey rocks, and stark beauty lends a perfect backdrop for colorful pre-wedding photoshoots. Reveling in the serenity of the landscape Anupreet and Akshit looked completely at peace as they posed beneath the clear blue sky. Ditya and Smit, on the other hand, made a colorful statement as they took in the rugged yet enchanting sights together.

Perched on the serene waters of Dal Lake, romance blossoms effortlessly. This urban lake has over the years been a hotspot for couples who love clouds that resemble cotton candy and appreciate the tranquility that can only be found amongst the serene mountains. Sonali and Rohan share, “There was no way we would have found a place more beautiful than Kashmir which has been called ‘Heaven on Earth.’ One of our fondest memories was arranging a rugged local boat which gave the portraits a rustic look. We even made sure to incorporate shots of the couple on a ‘shikara’ (traditional Kashmiri boat) to add an authentic Kashmiri vibe to the images. We avoided using props because the whole idea behind shooting in Kashmir was to make the most of its natural beauty.”
