A glamorous sangeet and traditional Marwari wedding, this couple’s destination wedding was intimate yet royal in style.
Aishwarya Jain and Pitambar Jha marked the start of their new lives with a traditional Marwari wedding. Imbibed with the royal grandeur of Rajasthan, their special moments were immortalized in beautiful frames by WeddingSutra Favorite – Jayesh Photography.
How They Met
Bangalore-based Lawyer Aishwarya and Computer Engineer Pitambar met in Delhi at a mutual friend’s party. The duo who were then working in Delhi felt a connection, but couldn’t stay in touch. They both relocated to Bangalore, so when nine months later they reconnected, they knew they had to follow through. Soon, they started dating, and after a year and a half of togetherness, they decided to take their relationship to the next level.
Wedding Planning
Bringing Aishwarya’s father’s dream to life, the couple decided to host their traditional Marwari wedding at heritage property Indana Palace in Jaipur.
The couple entrusted Jayesh Photography with the task of capturing their precious memories. Aishwarya shares, “When we came across Jayesh while looking for a photographer online, my husband and I were both very impressed by his work. Our experience with Jayesh has been brilliant- his eye for detail, commitment to perfection, and sheer passion for work reflect in every photograph. The highlight for me was my solo video that he shot, which I will treasure for life.”
Wedding Functions
Sangeet
The glamorous Sangeet night was brimming with stunning decor, rousing performances, and non-stop enjoyment. The couple and their loved ones all came on the dance floor and danced into the night. Aishwarya looked radiant in a shimmering mirror-work yellow lehenga, which Pitambar complemented wearing a rich purple sherwani.
Haldi
Hosted in a courtyard space, the Haldi ceremony was brimming with fresh floral decor. Strings of marigolds converged over a soothing mint green seating where the bride, dressed in vibrant orange, was smeared with turmeric pasted by her friends and family. The groom wore a soft shade of peach to complement the bride.
Wedding
Framed against the royal facade of Indana Palace, the wedding was imagined in fresh floral hues of peach, ivory, and orange, while an abundance of red roses added brilliant pops of color to the revelries. Aishwarya looked every bit the royal bride in a rich, red lehenga with decadent ornaments, while Pitambar opted for the elegance of a white sherwani.
