Akansha Bakshi and Krunal Pardiwala, The St. Regis New Capital, Cairo
Creating history in front of the pyramids, this was the first-ever Indian Sangeet set against the timeless Pyramids of Giza!
Akansha Bakshi and Krunal Pardiwala’s wedding united two legacy-driven families with influence across industries and cities. Krunal represents the third generation of a distinguished Mumbai-based business family that has shaped India’s printing and graphic-arts industry for over five decades, building on the pioneering vision of his grandfather, Ramesh N. Pardiwala. The celebrations were captured by WeddingSutra Favorite – Jodi Clickers, who captured the essence of the union.

Akansha comes from an illustrious Jaipur-based family rooted in education and enterprise. As Joint Director of Jaipur National University and the Seedling Group of Institutions, she carries forward a respected academic legacy, while also serving as CEO of Sandeep and Family LLP, leading the group’s luxury hospitality venture with Signia by Hilton, Jaipur.
From 23rd to 26th January 2026, the couple hosted a four-day celebration in Cairo, culminating in a historic Sangeet at the Pyramids of Giza. The festivities marked the first Indian wedding at the hotel and the first-ever Indian Sangeet hosted at the Pyramids.
Wedding Proposal
Their journey began in Santorini, where Krunal proposed against the island’s iconic blue domes and sweeping Aegean views. The picture-perfect moment set the tone for a love story later captured under the hashtag ‘#PardiofaKind’, reflecting destiny, legacy, and shared ambition.
Wedding Planning
Designed as one cohesive narrative, the four-day celebration unfolded at The St. Regis New Capital, Cairo, culminating in the first-ever Indian Sangeet at the Pyramids of Giza. The occasion marked three milestones: the first Indian wedding in Cairo at the property, the hotel’s first Indian wedding, and the first Indian Sangeet ever hosted at the Pyramids. After exploring destinations worldwide, the couple chose Cairo following a recce inside the Pyramids, with every subsequent event building toward that landmark evening.

Luxury personalisation defined the experience, from branded convoys and couture décor to curated welcome hampers, bespoke gifting, and custom menus. Akansha’s kaleeras featured symbolic charms, including a Pyramid, the number 25 marking both their wedding date and her birthdate, a ring, and the AK monogram. For the white wedding, her veil bore the words, ‘When the universe was ready, it wrote: Akansha ♥ Krunal.’ Honouring tradition, her cousin officiated the ceremony wearing her late Nanaji’s tie as her something old, while her custom veil marked the new, an “I Do” clutch borrowed from her sister completed the borrowed, and a handwritten note from her mother on blue paper fulfilled the blue.
Capturing this extraordinary celebration were the photographers, Jodi Clickers, whose lens moved seamlessly between grandeur and intimacy. From sweeping frames of the Pyramids bathed in evening light to quiet, emotion-laden moments shared between the couple and their families, the team documented the wedding with cinematic finesse. Their ability to balance scale with sentiment ensured that every milestone, from the historic Sangeet to the tender details of the white wedding, was preserved with clarity, depth and artistry.
