Ananya Agarwal and Karmanya Nagpal, The Primulas, New Delhi
From a mystical cocktail evening to a regal wedding ceremony - each event at this couple’s destination wedding was a unique one!
Ananya Agarwal and Karmanya Nagpal’s wedding celebrations unfolded as a thoughtfully curated series of events, each with a distinct look. Planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – Plush Weddings, the multi-day festivities were envisioned as immersive yet elegant experiences, with every function bringing a fresh visual language while maintaining a cohesive sense of style.

Wedding Planning
From the outset, the brief shared with Plush Weddings was clear. Each function needed to feel unique and visually different from the other. “The brief was straightforward but exciting,” shares Ruchika Arora Bansal of Plush Weddings. “Ananya and Karmanya wanted each event to stand out with its own theme and mood. Our focus was on creating clearly defined concepts for every function while ensuring the overall aesthetic still felt cohesive.”

Wedding Functions
Cocktail
The cocktail evening was designed around a mystical garden concept with a futuristic edge. Fresh florals were layered with contemporary lighting and structural décor elements to create a setting that felt modern yet soft. The interplay between floral textures and sleek design details added visual interest while keeping the overall mood relaxed and celebratory.

Mehendi and Sangeet
For the Mehendi and Sangeet, the décor drew inspiration from ‘Sheesh Mahal’. The design centred on an all-white palette accented with silver details, mirror elements, and subtle printed patterns. Warm candlelight added depth to the space, creating an atmosphere that encouraged comfort and let the evening unfurl organically.

Haldi
The Haldi ceremony introduced a fun, modern twist through a terracotta-inspired theme. Earthy tones formed the base of the décor, complemented by fresh oranges incorporated as accents. The setting also included interactive elements such as Jenga and sandbag games, creating a relaxed and playful environment for guests.

Wedding
The wedding ceremony embraced a royal traditional theme, with elephants and peacocks featured as key design elements. The colour palette was layered with shades of purple, creating a striking visual setting. The mandap was custom-designed with temple-inspired architecture and featured a three-dimensional ShreeNath ji backdrop, which became the focal point of the ceremony. Speaking about the concept, Ruchika Arora Bansal shares, “For the wedding ceremony, we wanted the décor to reflect traditional Indian grandeur. The temple-inspired mandap and ShreeNath ji backdrop brought a strong cultural and visual focus to the space.”
