Anushree Agarwal Todi, an Event Planner and Stylist, and Anirudh Todi tied the knot with a stunning destination wedding at Udaipur. Planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – The Event Casa, each event went ahead smoothly and stayed true to the bride’s vision!
Wedding Planning
Ashi Tanwar from The Event Casa shares, “Since our bride was a wedding decor stylist, her vision for all her event decor was crystal clear. She wanted to style the events with the optimum utilization of the venues. Our bride chose the venue’s lawn with trees and greens for her carnival event to include tassel hangings and give an easy breezy look to this carnival event. For the Haldi event, she finalized the terrace of the venue which served a beautiful view of the Aravali ranges. The bright yellow and blue pottery colours were looking just perfect at this spot.”
Wedding Functions
Carnival
Ashi shares, “We selected a pastel palette boho theme for the carnival decor. This made it easy to blend with the mood as guests were arriving and directly joining in the event. Our couple made an entry by singing a duet song and their friends welcomed them by holding coloured smoke bombs aloft to create a photogenic moment.”
Sangeet
For the sangeet, a tall order of bling was served! Ashi shares, “The sangeet flaunted a silver foil tunnel for the entry passage and MI BAR tree for the bar. The couple’s entry was based on the series ‘Money Heist’ in which the groom made a grand entry from the bar. In line with the theme of the popular Netflix series, he also went onstage and typed in a passcode that split the LED wall open.”
Haldi
Hosted on the rooftop with a stunning view of the surrounding Aravalli hills, the haldi fused hues of bright yellow and blue to create a mesmerizing atmosphere. Adhering to the blue pottery theme, the blue and white arches stood out against the lush foliage while the venue was adorned with sunflowers.
Wedding
Kicking off the festivities was an energetic baraat where Anirudh’s groom squad donned the same kurtas to cheer him on as he made his way towards his bride. Hues of maroon and ivory dominated the colour palette as the couple tied the knot under the shelter of suspended white blooms and scarlet roses.
