Wedding Functions
Mehendi
The celebrations began with an intimate Mehendi ceremony at Ashok Vatika, a tranquil grove surrounded by towering Ashok trees. Designed as a close-knit family gathering, the afternoon opened with a Kumaoni cultural high-tea, where local flavours and regional delicacies took centre stage. As pahadi folk music echoed through the grove, guests found themselves dancing amidst nature before the evening transitioned into a relaxed family dinner with live music. The setting felt warm, personal, and beautifully rooted in the region’s cultural rhythm.

Haldi
The Haldi ceremony unfolded by the poolside, with the forests of Jim Corbett forming a dramatic natural backdrop. The space was dressed in joyful shades of yellow, layered with floral accents and antique wooden frames inspired by traditional Uttarakhandi homes. Held under open skies, the ritual blended laughter, colour, and tradition, while the surrounding greenery lent a sense of serenity to the festivities.

Sangeet
For the Sangeet, the couple gathered their guests at Sindoori Baagh, a lawn named after the unique Sindoor tree. Soft, ambient lighting, cosy seating arrangements, and a glowing bonfire set the tone for an evening of music and celebration. As families danced to lively beats, the forest quietly framed the revelry, with gently swaying trees adding to the charm. Live tandoori counters and rich Mughlai flavours kept guests indulged, while cocktails like the Turmeric Fizz and Banafsha Whisky Sour flowed freely throughout the night.

The celebrations continued indoors with a soulful Sufi night hosted in the resort’s elegant banquet hall. Dressed in warm hues of red and gold, the space came alive with enchanting Sufi melodies that created an immersive, almost meditative atmosphere. As the music built, guests were drawn to the dance floor, carrying the evening well into the night.

Wedding
The wedding ceremony unfolded at sunset on the picturesque Nandavan Lawn, bathed in golden light beneath one of the property’s oldest Jamun trees. Surrounded by nature, Avantika and Prabhat exchanged vows in a setting that felt both serene and sacred. Classical notes of sitar, tabla, and flute heightened the ambience. Avantika made a striking entrance in a traditional red saree, arriving in a Victorian horse-drawn chariot, while Prabhat entered regally in ivory, adorned with a sword and arriving in a vintage car, bringing the celebrations to a close with quiet grandeur and timeless elegance.
