Ayushi and Sanket entrusted The Wedding Saga with bringing their dream to life. The brief was to merge Goa’s serene coastal beauty with the grandeur of Rajasthan, creating spaces that felt understated, elegant and culturally rich. Every celebration was thoughtfully designed to maintain this delicate balance, allowing the natural surroundings to complement rather than compete with the decor. Sharing their approach, Subhayu Chakraborti and Aakanksha Singh of The Wedding Saga say, “The couple wanted every event to feel immersive yet effortless, with each celebration carrying its own identity while remaining connected through a common design language. We focused on creating experiences that felt intimate and emotional, allowing meaningful details and thoughtful styling to take centre stage.”
Wedding Functions
Haldi
The Haldi ceremony unfolded in a soothing palette of soft pastels, with shades of baby pink lending warmth and elegance to the celebrations. Set beneath the sprawling banyan tree, cascading floral installations created a dreamy canopy that beautifully framed the festivities. Adding a poignant touch was a heartfelt tribute corner dedicated to the bride’s father, ensuring his presence was felt during one of the most cherished moments of the celebrations.
Sangeet
The Sangeet transformed into an enchanting forest-inspired spectacle where lush greenery, illuminated birds and oversized whimsical butterflies created an immersive setting. The magical decor set the stage for an evening filled with emotion as the couple dedicated heartfelt performances to one another while their families joined in with energetic acts celebrating their union.
Wedding
For the wedding ceremony, the vision of ‘Rajasthan in Goa’ came to life with remarkable elegance. Against the backdrop of the Arabian Sea stood a majestic mandap inspired by royal Rajasthani architecture, blending regal grandeur with the calming beauty of the coastline. The couple’s breathtaking royal entry set the tone for an unforgettable ceremony, as the gentle sea breeze, rituals, and the presence of loved ones created a profoundly emotional atmosphere.
Reception
The reception embraced understated sophistication through an elegant all-white palette that exuded warmth and refinement. Soft lighting and thoughtfully curated decor created an inviting ambience where family and close friends gathered to celebrate the newlyweds in a more intimate setting. The evening unfolded at a gentle pace, allowing heartfelt conversations, blessings and shared memories to take centre stage after days of grand celebrations.
After Party
The celebrations concluded with a vibrant Neon After Party that brought an entirely different energy to the wedding festivities. Electric neon lighting, pulsating music and a packed dance floor kept guests celebrating well into the early hours of the morning. As the couple fondly recalled, they truly ‘made pour decisions’, dancing until 6 AM with sore feet, endless laughter and memories that perfectly capped off an unforgettable wedding weekend.
