While WeddingSutra Favorite – House On The Clouds used their filming skills to capture raw emotions and cheery moments from the celebrations.
Wedding Planning
With a destination wedding on the cards, the couple was keen on orchestrating the perfect wedding. To make this dream come true, they roped in decorators Splendid Surprise Luxury Weddings who keenly understood their brief and executed it brilliantly! Aarefa Ahmedabadwala and Pramod Manerikar from Splendid Surprise Luxury Weddings share, “We were focused on designing every event keeping the couple’s story in mind. As a result, one witnessed events that were unique and unlike anything one has seen before. Plus we also had a huge canvas to play around with as the vast spaces helped our creativity take flight.”
On the photography front, Fourfold Pictures let their creativity flow by using their expertise behind the lens to encapsulate each happy moment. From capturing dynamic dance shots to adorable moments between the much in love couple at the mandap, team Fourfold Pictures was with the couple at every step of the way. Videographers House On The Clouds, on the other hand, used their expertise to the hilt by filming heartwarming snippets for the couple to cherish for a lifetime!
Weddings Functions
Sangeet
Designed keeping in mind how the couple had first crossed paths during Diwali, the Sangeet event was jam-packed with colorful lights, chandeliers and blooms. Additionally, rich merlot-hued couches ensured everyone had a good view as loved ones showed off their best moves on stage.
Mehndi
Bright and peppered with lively yellow blooms that were interspersed with pampas grass, the bridal Mehndi decor was refreshing to say the least. With her hands and feet flaunting henna patterns, the bride looked comfy as she reclined on an off-white sofa in her bright yellow outfit.
Welcome Dinner
Themed as a masquerade party, the Welcome Dinner was an icebreaker and also a symbolic representation of the couple’s long-distance relationship phase that took place during the pandemic. Adding a dash of fun to this party were professional dancers dressed in chrome outfits who urged the guests to shake a leg and ensured that everyone stayed high-spirited. While mini disco balls reflected the lights, a plethora of other metallic elements and pampas grass gave the ambience an air of elegance.
Wedding
Held at the hotel’s floating helipad, the wedding ceremony offered uninterrupted views of the sea. At this Sindhi wedding, subtle opulence was the flavor of the day as everything was swathed in shades of white. Right from the off-white parasols and the mandap furnishings to the couple’s outfits, all followed a white color palette. Amidst this, the mandap flaunted pillars that were adorned with lush green foliage and one saw acrylic chairs that surrounded it.
Reception
For the reception, the couple reaffirmed their love for white hues. Furnished with a large dancefloor, a champagne tower and white blooms, the newlyweds were a picture of happiness as they performed their first dance. Aesthetic long tables with floral centerpieces and delicate tableware waited to indulge the guests with a sumptuous feast following which there was much revelry and dancing to live music into the wee hours of the night for all those present.
