A heartwarming union of two vibrant cultures unfolded on the sun-kissed shores of Goa, as Mumbai-based Diksha Gandhi tied the knot with her Sri Lankan partner, Ram Pradeepan. Wedding Functions
Mehendi and Haldi
The festivities commenced with a joyful Mehendi and Haldi ceremony, where the decor set a playful, bohemian tone. The lawns were decked with vibrant floral installations in tones of tangerine, magenta, and lilac. Breezy pastel fabric frills fluttered overhead, creating a whimsical canopy under the Goan sky. Diwans, khaats, and lounging nooks dotted the space, encouraging guests to relax and soak in the moment.
Sangeet
As night fell, the mood shifted to glamour and groove for the Sangeet. The space was transformed into a visual spectacle—mirror danglers, LED butterflies, and a ceiling drenched in cascading rice lights set the scene for a night of celebration. The pièce de résistance was an LED-backdrop bar that became the focal point of the evening. Midnight blue sequinned linens, translucent ghost chairs, and ambient lighting added a luxe touch.
Wedding
Rooted in Tamil traditions, Diksha and Ram’s wedding ceremony was a serene and soulful affair. A stunning mandap framed by lotus-inspired floral installations stood at the centre of the aisle, welcoming guests into a sacred space of union. Thoughtful details like cross-back seating, delicate petal shower giveaways, and subtle traditional elements created a ceremony that felt both intimate and regal. Following the rituals, an elegant sit-down imperial lunch brought loved ones together in culinary delight.
Sundowner
Against the backdrop of golden hour and the soft Goan breeze, guests gathered to toast the newlyweds in an atmosphere of laid-back luxury. With lounge-style seating, minimalistic floral arrangements, and mellow tunes setting the tone, the event was the perfect blend of calm and celebration, bringing the multi-day festivities to a heartfelt close.
