Dipesh and Julie, Seseh Beach Villa, Bali
Dipesh and Julie's cross-cultural wedding in Bali included a lively Indian wedding by the pool and an intimate Christian wedding by the beach.
While Julie looked every bit a desi bride for their Indian wedding, Dipesh made for a dapper groom during their Christian rituals. Followed by a glitzy reception, the couple’s Bali wedding planned by Varawedding was the perfect balance of tradition and glamor.
Wedding Venue
Dipesh and Julie hosted their dual wedding ceremonies at the luxurious Seseh Beach Villas in the tropical paradise of Bali, in Indonesia. This property in the fishing village of Seseh overlooks the azure waters of the Indian Ocean, offers a private beach and is surrounded by lush greenery.
Wedding Planning
The wedding ceremonies were organized by Bali-based Varawedding. From the flowers to the wines that were paired according to the tastes of the guests, the Varawedding team took pains to make every detail was perfect. The Indian wedding ceremony was held by the pool, and the white Christian wedding was organized by the beach.
Indian Wedding Ceremony
Red was the consistent color at the lively Indian wedding by the poolside. Julie wore a traditional red lehenga with gold and silver embroidery paired with a net dupatta, which was complemented by Dipesh’s white sherwani and dupatta that matched the color of her outfit. The mandap, erected on a large wooden deck, was resplendent with red drapes around the pillars and canopy that were festooned with charming colorful floral arrangements.
Christian Wedding Ceremony
With a view of the expansive Indian ocean as the backdrop, the Christian wedding ceremony had a white and purple theme. Julie wore a beautiful white gown with a beautifully embroidered bodice, while Dipesh opted for a formal black suit for the occasion. The ceremony, in the peaceful environs of the beach, was attended by an intimate gathering of guests who showered the couple with white rose petals as they walked down the aisle together.
Reception
For the reception, Julie wore a gold sequined gown, and Dipesh looked handsome in a classic black suit. The exquisite cake by Ixora featured a peacock on the top and cupcakes on the bottom tier. Dazzling fireworks, fairy lights strung above the venue and the sense of joy and happiness marked the celebrations in a lovely way, making it an evening for all to remember.
