Immersed in cultural and fun experiences, this couple’s destination wedding in Jaipur was a spirited celebration rooted in tradition.
Esha and Ankit’s wedding at Hyatt Regency Jaipur Mansarovar wedding brought together intimate family moments, vibrant celebrations and thoughtful experiences for their guests. Planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – Krayonz Entertainment and designed by WeddingSutra Favorite – House of Vivaah, the festivities seamlessly blended Indian traditions with contemporary touches, creating a celebration that felt warm and immersive.
Wedding Planning
Krayonz Entertainment worked closely with the family to curate and manage the celebrations, overseeing hospitality, guest experience, logistics, entertainment and production across the functions. House of Vivaah designed and executed the décor, creating distinct visual identities for each celebration, while emcee Chirag Vithalani brought energy and ease to the festivities. “Since Esha and Ankit are based in the US, it was important for us to create an experience that felt rooted in Indian celebrations while also being engaging for their NRI guests,” says Achint Nag of Krayonz Entertainment.
“We wanted every function to have its own personality, while ensuring that the overall celebration flowed seamlessly,” adds Achint. “The focus was on creating moments that guests could participate in and remember, rather than simply being spectators. From the immersive welcome dinner to the Holi celebrations and the Garba-inspired Sangeet, every event was planned to bring the families and guests together.”
Wedding Functions
Welcome Dinner & Mehendi
The celebrations opened with a warm Kashmiri-inspired welcome, where soulful melodies of Sitar, Santoor and Tabla set a culturally rooted tone for the evening. The Mehendi celebrations unfolded as a charming Souk Bazaar, with stalls showcasing colourful dupattas, kurtas, juttis, pocket squares, jewellery, attar, floral accessories and personalised keepsakes.
Rich textures, vibrant hues and artisanal details gave the setting the feel of a lively Kashmiri marketplace, while the Mehendi experience added an intimate, festive touch. The evening continued with cocktails, mocktails and music, gradually building the energy for the celebrations ahead.
Haldi & Phoolon Ki Holi
The Haldi celebrations embraced a playful, colourful spirit with an exuberant Phoolon Ki Holi. Flower showers, flower guns, games and water activities transformed the celebration into an interactive experience for guests of all ages.
Designed with the couple’s NRI guest list in mind, the Water Holi brought an especially energetic element to the festivities. Bride-versus-groom games, colourful pichkaris and water balloons kept guests engaged, with Chirag Vithalani adding to the fun as emcee.
Sangeet
Inspired by the festive spirit of Gujarat, the Sangeet featured a vibrant Garba-inspired setting designed by House of Vivaah. Colourful décor, immersive installations, elegant lighting and a grand stage created a lively backdrop for the evening.
The celebrations began with Garba and Dandiya, bringing guests together on the dance floor, before moving into live music and a high-energy DJ set. The evening was brought to life with family performances and dynamic production, creating a seamless progression from traditional festivities to a lively party.
Wedding
The wedding celebrations began with the groom’s vintage sidecar baraat, accompanied by four dhols and an energetic Garba procession. His welcome included a special dance by the bride’s mother and sisters, followed by a surprise performance by the bride.
The bride’s entrance began with her bridesmaids before she made a traditional doli entry with her maternal uncles. The celebrations also included a playful take on the traditional joota chupai, transformed into a rugby-style showdown between the two families. Colourful Rajasthani safas added another layer of regional character to the festivities.
Reception
The reception opened with a sophisticated cocktail hour, followed by choreographed family entrances set to songs personally chosen by each family. The couple’s grand entrance brought everyone together before the guests surprised them with a flash mob.
Heartfelt family speeches, a celebratory cake cutting and a champagne toast added intimate moments to the evening. The celebration then shifted into party mode, with the dance floor staying lively late into the night.
