Hosted at Baba Beach Club Hua Hin, Thailand, the celebrations embraced the venue’s relaxed beachfront setting while bringing together thoughtful experiences, elegant décor, and warm hospitality. Planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – The Wedding Galore, every event was carefully curated to feel distinct yet cohesive, creating a destination wedding that was personal, immersive, and effortlessly stylish.

How They Met
Harsh and Shrishti’s story began in Kolkata, where they first met as children at a dance class. What started as a childhood friendship gradually grew into something more, with Harsh’s warmth, thoughtfulness, and quiet persistence leaving a lasting impression. They officially began dating in 2014 and have spent over a decade growing together through different chapters of life. From Kolkata to Mumbai, where they built their careers and lives, their relationship has been shaped by consistency, understanding, and a strong sense of partnership.

Wedding Venue
Set along the shores of the picturesque Hua Hin, Baba Beach Club Hua Hin provided a picturesque backdrop for the celebrations. With its beachfront location, tropical landscape, and contemporary design, the venue struck the perfect balance between relaxed luxury and understated elegance. Its versatile spaces allowed each event to have its own identity while maintaining a seamless flow throughout the wedding weekend.

Wedding Planning
Shrishti had a clear vision for the décor from the outset and worked closely with The Wedding Galore to bring it to life. She wanted every celebration to feel intentional, personal, and true to her aesthetic, favouring real flowers, natural textures, and clean, contemporary styling.

Each event was designed with its own distinct mood. The Mehndi featured a colourful carnival-inspired setting with vibrant florals, playful bubble effects, and cheerful details. The Sangeet embraced a sophisticated midnight blue palette that created an elegant and atmospheric setting, while the wedding ceremony drew inspiration from nature with a forest-inspired design that blended effortlessly into the beachfront surroundings. Speaking about the planning process, Kavneet Sethi of The Wedding Galore shares, “Shrishti had a very clear vision, which made the creative journey incredibly collaborative. Our focus was on designing each celebration with its own identity while ensuring everything felt connected. We wanted the décor to complement the venue and allow every experience to feel natural, immersive, and personal.”

Wedding Functions
Welcome
Guests were welcomed with fresh garlands, cool towels, and refreshing drinks, setting the tone for a warm destination wedding experience. Traditional Thai dancers greeted everyone with live music and a graceful Rum Thai performance, inviting guests to take part in the local culture.

A Polaroid station encouraged everyone to capture memories, leave messages for the couple, and add them to a growing photo wall. Throughout the celebrations, a traditional tea stall serving hot tea in clay cups and a Thai foot massage station added thoughtful hospitality touches that guests appreciated.

Mehndi
The Mehndi embraced a soft palette of pistachio, lavender, and blush pink with an elegant Indian Bridgerton-inspired aesthetic. Floral details and pastel accents created a fresh, cheerful setting that felt both refined and playful. Guests enjoyed a Mehndi station, while a fan painting corner allowed everyone to personalise hand fans and take home a meaningful keepsake.

Welcome Dinner
The Welcome Dinner unfolded by the beach with tropical-inspired décor that complemented the coastal setting. Relaxed seating, seaside details, and live acoustic music by a singer and guitarist created an easy-going atmosphere as guests settled into the celebrations.

Haldi
The Haldi Pool Party brought vibrant energy to the beach with colourful décor and interactive experiences. Fresh coconuts stamped with the couple’s logo served as welcome drinks, while beach games including tug of war, limbo, corn hole, and beer pong kept guests entertained throughout the afternoon.

A custom perfume-making station gave everyone the chance to create their own fragrance, adding a unique keepsake to the celebrations. The couple’s lively entrance, surrounded by friends and family carrying colourful ribbons, bubble guns, and smoke bubbles, perfectly captured the joyful spirit of the afternoon.

Sangeet
The Sangeet took on a more refined mood with a midnight blue colour palette that created an elegant setting for an evening of performances and dancing. A popcorn station added a fun touch before the celebrations flowed into a lively after-party featuring Russian dancers, neon sunglasses, and glowing light sticks that kept the dance floor buzzing late into the night.

Wedding
The celebrations began with a lively Baraat led by a beautifully decorated vintage tuk-tuk, adding a local touch to the festivities. The beachfront ceremony featured a nature-inspired mandap designed to blend seamlessly with its surroundings. Organic florals and earthy textures allowed the beauty of the setting to remain the focal point, creating a calm and intimate atmosphere for the vows. Reflecting on the ceremony, Kavneet Sethi says, “For the wedding, we wanted the décor to feel like a natural extension of the venue. By keeping the design organic and understated, we were able to create a setting that felt timeless while allowing the couple and the location to take centre stage.”

Reception
The celebrations concluded with a romantic reception beneath a tree adorned with hanging lights and surrounded by candles. A live violinist added to the intimate atmosphere as guests enjoyed the evening. A vintage-style telephone booth invited loved ones to record video messages for the couple, creating a heartfelt keepsake. The evening ended with the couple’s entrance through a pathway of sparklers held by family and friends, followed by cake cutting, a beachside fire show, and a champagne pop that brought the wedding weekend to a memorable close.
