Isha Jain, and Mohit Jain, first met each other through an arranged marriage setup. As fate would have it, cupid struck and the duo instinctively knew that they were meant to be. The couple then went on to tie the knot during the chilly month of December at The Leela Palace, Jaipur which is known for its flawless hospitality and breathtaking beauty. How They Met
Isha shares, “Mohit and I first encountered each other through an arranged marriage setup. Truth be told, we were both struggling to find a perfect match. We met in the month of February, 2020, after which we spoke on the phone three to four times. Gradually, we both realized that there was something special between us, and hence our families decided to meet each other. They met and a date was set immediately, and soon we were on our way to becoming partners for life!”

Wedding Venue

Wedding Planning
Being a bride during these uncertain times is challenging, but determined to tie the knot, Isha along with Mohit orchestrated a wedding that translated their vision beautifully. Isha shares, “Our date was initially finalized, but as the Covid-19 pandemic spread in India, there were repeated delays and cancellations. At long last, we were able to get married in the perfect manner, just the way we wanted it!”

Weddings Functions
Mehndi
Basking under the bright Rajasthani sun, the mehndi was a cheerful event that was swathed in blue and white hues. With ample seating arrangements that consisted of comfy chairs and settees where the ladies could relax while getting henna patterned on their hands, the mehndi function was decidedly casual.

Sangeet
The sangeet was a glamorous event with a cascading gold sequined ceiling and traditional dancers who welcomed the couple as they entered the venue. Equipped with a stage that had LED candles in the backdrop, the bride took this opportunity to show off her best moves while her loved ones cheered her on.

Haldi
Minimalistic and traditional, the haldi event was hosted at one of The Leela Palace’s spacious terraces where one could treat their eyes to the lush greenery surrounding them. With a floral canopy offering shade to the guests and a yellow cutwork backdrop, this occasion unleashed everyone’s playful side as they slathered the to-be-weds with turmeric.

Wedding
With floral arches and old school chandeliers dominating the entranceway, Isha and Mohit’s wedding was perfectly in sync with their regal surroundings while reflecting their modern tastes. In the center was a simple yet striking mandap with its pillars covered in foliage and a crystal chandelier suspended from its ceiling to bathe the couple in soft golden light. Heralded by sparklers and flanked by her family members, Isha resembled a maharani as she gracefully walked down towards the mandap where Mohit eagerly awaited her.
