The couple turned to the team of Purple Tree Event Solutions to plan and execute every detail of the wedding, and the team worked tirelessly to ensure it surpassed their expectations. Founder of Purple Tree Event Solution, Nafisa Afonso Sheikh shares “We knew we wanted a decor design that would seamlessly blend with the natural beauty of our chosen venue. Our vision was to enhance, not overpower, the stunning beach and garden surroundings. We sought decor that would complement the serene and romantic atmosphere of the location, adding subtle touches of elegance without taking away from the breathtaking views. The final result was exactly what we had imagined—soft, organic elements that merged effortlessly with the beach’s natural landscape and the lush gardens.”

Sundowner
The celebrations began with a stunning sundowner by the beach, where soft, muted tones embraced a laid-back yet elegant atmosphere. DJ Alex curated a special percussion set exclusively for the occasion, setting the perfect tone for the evening with rhythms that resonated deeply with the vibe envisioned by the couple.

Ganesh Stapna
Isha shares, “For the Ganesh Stapna, we drew inspiration from Gujarat, reflecting my roots as a Gujarati, while blending elements of Varun’s Kannadiga heritage. The result was a beautifully traditional affair that felt both personal and meaningful to both of our families.”

Haldi
The Haldi ceremony was inspired by a citrus orchard, where the fresh, vibrant hues of oranges and yellows filled the space, creating a lively and refreshing atmosphere. “For the Haldi ceremony, I knew I didn’t want the traditional plain yellow. I was looking for something a little different, something that would feel fresh and vibrant, and the end result was beyond beautiful! Since my favorite color is orange, we decided to incorporate it in a way that felt unique, and it turned out absolutely stunning – bright, warm, and full of energy, just like the celebration itself.” The blend of hues created a lively and joyful atmosphere that perfectly captured the essence of the occasion.

Sangeet
For the Sangeet, the celebration moved indoors, embracing a lavish decor that radiated opulence through its jewel tones. Deep purples, emerald greens, and shimmering gold accents transformed the space, infusing the evening with an extravagant and vibrant atmosphere.

Wedding
The wedding kicked off with Varun’s baraat – a joyous occasion full of fun, music, and dancing. The festivities unfurled with a magical, fairytale-inspired Kannadiga ceremony in the gorgeous rainforest lawns. The backdrop was nothing short of enchanting, creating the perfect setting for our union.

The wedding lunch was served in true Kannadiga style with a traditional Sadhya – an authentic, multi-course meal featuring an array of vegetarian dishes, all bursting with rich flavors and unique textures.

Isha shares “As for the wedding decor, it was everything I had imagined and more. The mandap, with its soft pink and white color palette, was set against the lush greenery of the lawns, creating the most romantic and serene backdrop. The delicate florals and elegant drapery brought everything together in such a harmonious way. It was the perfect balance of beauty and nature, and every detail was carefully curated to create a timeless and breathtaking setting for our big day.”

Sufi Night
The festivities ended on a high note with a soul-stirring Sufi night with Bhavin Shastry, whose performance captivated everyone and brought the evening to a beautiful close. Since Coldplay was performing in Ahmedabad during the wedding, the couple decided to create their own mini-concert experience with an amazing entertainment setup with Xylobands, experiential installations, and live performances. DJ Afroz and Akash, the percussionist, ensured the energy was high, and everyone partied until the early hours of the morning.
