Wedding Planning
Keeping elegance and style at the forefront of the design story, The Doli Diary ensured that this union reflected Kahini and Aditya’s individual styles. Inspired by the region’s intricate art forms, natural beauty and majestic architecture, as planners, they infused every event with Rajasthani vibrance. The wedding was hosted at the majestic Jai Mahal Palace in Jaipur which amplified the beauty of the celebrations with its heritage architecture and landscaped gardens.
Wedding Functions
Welcome Dinner
A stylish setup that fused traditional and modern elements, the Welcome Dinner ensured the guests mingled freely before the festivities commenced. Old-school regal glamour was enhanced by bright hues as the table sported colorful tableware and dainty blooms.
Haldi
The wedding festivities commenced with haldi celebrations hosted separately for the bride and the groom’s side. The bride’s haldi flaunted Rajasthani and Italian vibes with sunflowers and blue pottery. On the other hand, groom Aditya’s haldi exuded vibrancy inspired by the hues of Punjab.
Polo Match and Sundowner
Neha Wadhawan and Jinal Patel from The Doli Diary share, “The polo match with its sunkissed fuschia and yellow hues transitioned into a charming European-themed market sundowner. We had so much fun curating the games, and gifting stalls and live music for this event. Everyone followed the theme and dressed to impress with their hats and jackets. The decor for the meticulously curated European farmers market was inspired by Kahini and Aditya’s travel memories like the Christmas gift box photo booth, the bar name and a spread of their favourite foods.”
Wedding
White drapes, minimal elements, tons of flowers and a sit-down lunch were the top highlights of the wedding which had approximately 250 guests in attendance. Neha and Jinal share, “We focused on leveraging the property’s landscape to build an overall minimal, elegant and chic vibe that reflected the couple’s personalities. The carefully curated seating chart by Kahini added a royal touch to their lovely sit-down lunch post the wedding. On a fun note, Kahini decided to walk down on ‘Bole Chudiyan’ for her varmala entry! The groom was delighted and surprised by his bride’s energetic performance.”
Sangeet
A combination of lit candles and red roses was used for the sangeet night to enhance the overall look and feel of the venue. It was a back-to-back mash-up for some of the iconic Sangeet songs of all time making it a night to remember for all. Red blooms, lush foliage and gold fairylights gave the event a cosy vibe. The bride, with her holographic skirt act, had everyone mesmerised!
