It took them just two meetings to seal the deal and begin their journey of a lifetime together, starting with a Big Fat Marwari wedding!
Wedding Planning
The bride had always wanted a fairy-tale palatial wedding with a sprawling guestlist, grandeur, and larger-than-life memories, while the groom hoped for an intimate destination wedding. Wedding Functions
Pre-wedding Reception
The celebrations started with a bang with a pre-wedding Reception in Mumbai. The ethereal decor and grandeur of the occasion left everyone awestruck the moment they entered. Made with white flowers, crystals, swings, candles, and more, the welcome aisle felt like an entry into a whimsical wonderland, opening up to the function ground with a larger-than-life stage setup, elegant seating, and stellar entertainment. The couple arrived with an entourage of stilt performers that took everyone’s breath away.
Welcome
The guests arrived with a warm welcome done in a royal Rajasthani manner with massive drums, traditional dance, garlands, and more. A vibrant mix of prints and textures in vivid colors adorned the lakeside venue for a lively gathering, full of exotic flowers and decor elements. The couple wore chic ensembles of ice-gray for the occasion while everyone wore bright indo-western attire for the casual yet rousing celebration.
Sangeet
Highlighted by the grandeur of the palace, the Sangeet festivities were splendor galore. Grand floral arrangements, decor, shimmering chandeliers, performers, and more came together to create a night of opulence and entertainment. Dressed in haute couture, the couple matched the decadence of the occasion with their stunning choreographed entry, setting the tone for the evening full of dance, music, and enjoyment.
Haldi
The final day of the celebrations began with a riot of colors for a sunkissed Mexican-carnival-themed haldi function. Imagined in a delicate pastel palette, the occasion was replete with whimsical decor, colorful performers, music, and merriment. The couple rode in on an ATV with carnival dancers to great cheers.
Pheras
The evening arrived with all the splendor of a royal Marwadi wedding, filled with spectacular decor and unforgettable moments of grandeur. The bride looked no less than a queen riding on an elephant, while the groom arrived in a vintage car with a baraat that was a mix of modern and traditional. The couple exchanged varmalas on a top floor jharokha of the palace as their loved ones stood witness, after which they tied the knot in a stunning floral mandap next to the lake. The ceremony was followed by a reception dinner to conclude the grand festivities.
