Kamakshi and Yash, The Westin, Pune

Kamakshi and Yash clicked with each other the moment they met through an arranged setup. While Yash is warm and fun, Kamakshi is kind and driven by a vision. These qualities were reflected in their plans for the wedding, which they envisioned as a spread of four distinct events, each with its own unique charm and energy. Beautifully orchestrated by WeddingSutra Favorite – Believe Weddings, the celebrations were a multi-day, multi-event affair with electric performances, including one by illusionist Ashwam, whose mystifying tricks and sleight of hand left the guests spellbound. Each unforgettable moment was captured beautifully by WeddingSutra Favorite – Movieing Moments.

Wedding Planning
Aashay Samel and Aditya Kedia of Believe Weddings say, “Throughout the events, the couple emphasized the importance of attention to detail, from the décor and music to the food and entertainment, ensuring that every aspect of the celebration reflected their love and commitment to each other. For the Welcome Lunch, they requested a warm and inviting atmosphere that would set the tone for the festivities. The Sangeet was envisioned as a high-energy celebration with lively music and dance performances, showcasing the couple’s love for music and dance. The Myra, a special event for the bride’s side, was meant to be an intimate gathering with soulful melodies. The Baraat and wedding ceremony called for a grand, joyous atmosphere with a mix of traditional and modern elements, culminating in a vibrant celebration of the union.”

Wedding Functions
Welcome Lunch
The family and guests were welcomed to the venue with beautiful malas and dholwalas! The bride’s family staged a show-stopping surprise welcome dance, and the day was expertly hosted by the effervescent Ruchita Sharma, who not only kept the energy high but also delighted the guests with her soulful singing.

The guests were treated to a range of exciting activities, including evil eye charm-making, calligraphy, and coffee cup reading, ensuring that everyone had a memorable time.

The Sangeet
With the incredibly talented Akriti Kakkar treating the guests to a dynamic performance, the Sangeet got off to a groovy start. DJ Krish Mulchandani, who jammed along with the fabulous Jonqui, created an atmosphere that was simply electric. A glitter artist station helped add an extra touch of sparkle for the guests. The culinary highlight of the evening was the spread by Masterchef Siddharth Talwar.

Myra
Beautiful family dances kicked off the function, followed by rituals of applying tikka and feeding mithai. Illusionist Ashwam’s mystifying tricks and sleight of hand left the guests spellbound. The heavenly voices of Blessing Chants, led by the soulful Dhanika, spoke directly to everyone’s hearts.

Meanwhile, the groom’s side treated their guests to a delightful brunch event, which also included spa treatments, fun games, and caricature artists.

Baraat and Wedding
The Baraat kicked off with the groom arriving on a ghodi to the energetic beats of Gurdeep Mehendi. The groom’s entry with his dog stole everyone’s hearts.

A surprise burst of colourful fireworks marked the varmala exchange. The pheras were accompanied by the soulful sounds of Indian Jam Project. Dhanika and Blessing Chants added a divine touch, blessing the proceedings with their musical chants that echoed the joy and commitment of the moment.
