Kritika Gupta, a makeup artist and Path Goel’s destination wedding on the serene shores of Hua Hin in Thailand was chic, dreamy and packed with playful moments. Orchestrating this union was WeddingSutra Favorite – The Wedding Network who ensured the planning process was seamless.
Wedding Venue
Surrounded by the tropical greenery of Hua Hin, a gem on Thailand’s unending shores the couple tied the knot surrounded by their loved ones. They chose Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa to host their festivities. They were met with impeccable hospitality, pristine beaches and plenty of in-house spaces to give each of their celebrations a unique flavor.
Wedding Planning
Kritika shares, “As soon-to-be-weds, we had the time of our lives! We didn’t have a single worry as the planning team at The Wedding Network was extremely prompt. The three-day wedding just flew by and we enjoyed every minute of it. It was a fairytale come true and we had the pleasure of seeing all the guests enjoy themselves to the fullest. There were no formalities and everyone was comfortable themselves.”
Wedding Functions
Welcome Dinner
Breaking the ice and boasting plenty of impromptu jigs on the dancefloor, the welcome dinner had everyone in high spirits. As the guests occupied the colourfully lit-up dancefloor, they also indulged themselves with delectable treats.
Haldi
The sundowner haldi was hosted on a lawn located by the beach. Keeping the bride’s preferences in mind, the event brimmed with bright hues, floral backdrops, a vast colourful dancefloor, floral arches and a breezy canopy made up the decor. The colors looked especially bright against the white sand and light blue sea.
Cocktail
Kritika shares, “We wanted a twist to the disco theme for the cocktail night and decided to add red for the colour element. Floral arrangements and chandeliers gave it that extra oomph! Drapes in forest green contrasted the red hues while gold lights and a starry-night-like backdrop gave the entire venue a magical glow.”
Wedding
Kritika shares, “For our big day, we decided to stay true to the classics. Elegance was our topmost priority as we chose shades of pastel for the decor. Adorned with suspended soft pink blooms, pillars covered with foliage and a chrome aisle, the wedding mandap looked striking against the sunset sky.”
Reception
Shades of ivory, green and soft gold dominated the color palette at the reception. A foliage-filled backdrop with the couple’s monogram made the perfect photo-op for the guests before they went ahead to greet the newlyweds. Dainty gold chandeliers and lanterns played peek-a-boo in the canopy amidst the foliage bathing the venue in soft light.
