Mahima Kumar and Anmol Sood, The Leela Palace, Jaipur
A sudden downpour couldn’t rain on this celebration, which was a veritable concert for the couple and their guests.
The wedding of Mahima Kumar, daughter of Mr. A. Kumar, MD of Victor Forgings, and Anmol Sood, Director at Oriental Textiles, brought together two families through a celebration that was heartfelt, stylish, and rooted in tradition. WeddingSutra Favorite – Amore World ensured that all details were executed perfectly, in keeping with the couple’s vision.

Wedding Planning
Ruchit Khannaa, of Amore World, says, “The couple envisioned a wedding that was elegant yet soulful—something that reflected their personalities while embracing Indian traditions. From artist curation to visual storytelling, Amore World worked closely with the families to deliver an experience that was both seamless and personal. This wedding reminded us that even with last-minute changes and unexpected rain, magic unfolds when love leads the way—and a dedicated team brings it all together.”

Wedding Functions
Cocktail
The celebrations began with a cocktail party in Ludhiana. Originally planned at the family farmhouse—for which preparations were on for months—the cocktail faced an unexpected venue change due to rain just 72 hours prior to the function. Without time for a recce, the Amore World team, along with décor help from GMS Event Planner, transformed the indoor banquet at The Western Address into a show-stopping space with immersive lights and production.
Many details were planned less than 24 hours ahead of the event, such as the piano at the venue. Highlights from the evening included live performances by Sukhwinder Singh and DJ Ganesh, and a well-timed groom entry against a Niagara Falls-inspired backdrop, with him popping champagne with Mahima by his side.

Mehendi
Following the cocktail soirée, the celebrations moved to Jaipur at The Leela Palace. The festivities commenced with a lively welcome lunch and mehendi, where vibrant Jaipuri prints, traditional block fabrics, colorful umbrellas, and floral accents adorned the poolside, creating the perfect ambiance for a relaxed yet spirited afternoon.

Sangeet
The sangeet was a regal mix of vintage charm with deep red florals, stunning chandeliers, and candlelight. Sufi maveric Sagar Bhatia, and DJ Moltec, a wedding veteran, set the tone for the evening and got the couple and the guests on their feet.

Haldi
The Haldi was a sunlit setting with marigolds, earthy decor, and block-printed linens, paying tribute to Rajasthani culture.

Wedding
The wedding ceremony was sophisticated and emotional, where champagne tones and blush-hued florals complemented the ethereal glow of an ivory mandap. The varmala was a vision of grandeur—illuminated by cascading cold pyros and a dazzling two-minute firework display, all set to the soulful strains of Tur Chaleeya, capturing the timeless moment when “A + M” became forever.
The celebrations continued with a high-octane after-party, where an electrifying performance by Stebin Ben and dynamic beats by DJ Sourabh set the tone for an unforgettable night of revelry and glamour.
