Belgium-based Mauni Shah and Aniket Shroff, a Dubai-based businessman, celebrated their love against the stunning backdrop of Lake Como. Planning this intimate, fairytale-like union was WeddingSutra Favorite- Kkings Events in a short span of sixty days orchestrated a series of jaw-dropping events.

Monil Shah from Kkings Events shares, “Mauni and Aniket wanted their wedding to be a harmonious blend of royalty, minimalism, and rich cultural heritage. They dreamed of giving their 120 guests a true taste of Lake Como’s beauty, paired with the warmth and vibrance of Indian traditions. They chose the stunning Villa Flori and Villa Balbiano as their venues, each offering a perfect mix of heritage and modern charm. Each event across the three-day celebration was designed to reflect the couple’s personalities and their love for blending traditions with contemporary flair. To offer a truly authentic experience, we flew in a Maharaj from India who, along with his team, curated a menu that combined Indian flavors with Italian finesse. Guests relished every meal, praising the thoughtful blend of traditional and international cuisines.”

The couple adds, “As we set our eyes on the wedding venue, we instantly fell in love. But, little did we envisage the obstacles that lay ahead. To begin with, getting visas for all family members and vendors was a hassle. Italy was under a lockdown at the time; we had to wait days before the wedding to hear back on who could make it. We had guests coming in from across the globe, and accommodation seemed like a bit of a challenge. In the end, we were left with just two months to sort out our clothes, food, decor, and more. However, our planning team went the extra mile and ensured all aspects were orchestrated perfectly! KKings Weddings and Events team ensured that everyone’s experience was up to the mark. Despite all the last-minute dilemmas, they upheld a clear line of communication and brought everything together on the day.”

Sangeet
“The Sangeet was an evening of dance, emotions, and cherished memories. The couple’s spontaneous entry on a hotel luggage trolley set the tone for a night filled with laughter and music. Families and friends performed heartfelt acts, and the notable mayor of Antwerp, Koen Metsu, honored the occasion with his presence and a touching speech”, recollects Monil.
Haldi
The Haldi ceremony, set on the picturesque deck of Villa Flori, was a burst of color and joy. Guests, dressed in shades of yellow, pink, and red, enjoyed an ambience filled with traditional rituals and playful elements like ‘polaroid’ stations and a wishing board.
Wedding
The wedding day was nothing short of magical as Monil goes on to share, “Aniket’s grand chopper entry left everyone in awe, while Mauni’s serene walk down the aisle with her father was a moment filled with love and grace. The couple exchanged garlands on a speed boat, surrounded by the serene waters of Lake Como, creating a picture-perfect moment straight out of a fairytale.”
Reception
“The reception was a grand culmination of this beautiful journey. The couple’s elegant entrance, the three-tier cake cutting, and the surprise fireworks display mesmerised all the guests. The DJ’s beats kept the energy high, ensuring the night ended on a vibrant note”, shares Monil.
