Mrinali and Rahul Agarwal, Avani+ Hua Hin Resort, Thailand
This couple’s pink-hued wedding mandap by the pristine shoreside of Thailand will steal your hearts!
Close-knit yet grand, Nepal-based Mrinali and Rahul Agarwal’s beachside wedding in Thailand are what modern-day fairytales are made of! Playing freely with a bright colour palette that contrasted delightfully with Thailand’s tropical beauty, this wedding planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – ShubhTithi Weddings and Events is filled with inspiration. Photographing this union was WeddingSutra Favorite – Camlition Productions who with their expertise captured the couple at their stylish best.
Wedding Venue
For their dream Marwadi wedding, the venue just had to be perfect. Spurred by this very thought, Mrinali and Rahul chose Thailand to seal their love. Abundant in natural beauty, renowned for its impeccable hospitality, and its keen understanding of desi culture, Thailand has long been a hot favourite amongst couples and this duo was no exception. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the couple chose Avani+ Hua Hin Resort that boasts luxurious rooms and villas along with scenic vistas that their guests could take in while they celebrate their union.
Wedding Planning
Nikita Dubey from ShubhTithi Weddings and Events shares, “The couple was keen on an intimate yet grand wedding where they could enjoy themselves thoroughly. Both Mrinali and Rahul are based in Nepal so we had to do quite a bit of coordination based in India.”
Sahil Rathod from ShubhTithi Weddings and Events adds, “We mainly finalised all elements over zoom calls and a few recce meetings where we understood the couple’s needs. It was surely a rollercoaster ride but we had a lot of fun making this dream wedding in Thailand come to life!”
On the other hand, the couple roped in Camlition Productions to ensure not a single moment was missed as they tied the knot. Right from cocktail, sangeet to the serene beachside wedding, team Camlition Productions were on their toes as they captured the couple dancing, flirting and revelling in the presence of their loved ones.
Weddings Functions
Cocktail
Nikita shares, “The celebrations started off with a cocktail party where rather than going for the commonly used themes, the couple opted for a metallic-themed party with glitter face paints and fancy bars with elaborate drinks. And, of course, lots of dancing!”
Bhaat
Sunlit and decorated with bright orange marigolds, the bhaat function was a high-spirited event where everyone dressed up in bright hues of pink, peach and red. With dholis playing energetic beats and the guests thoroughly enjoying themselves on the dance floor, the event witnessed both families unite as they celebrated the couple’s love.
Carnival
Sahil shares, “The Carnival was a fun and intimate function with many entertainment stalls. Food stalls, like, potato twisters and cotton candy kept everyone busy while a perfume-making stall had everyone crowding to create their own perfumes.”
Sangeet
Swathed in hues of lavender, the sangeet was a glamorous yet dreamy event where everyone put their dancing shoes on to show off their best moves. Equipped with a vast stage, lit with delicate fairy lights with crystals adding a hint of glimmer to the decor, the sangeet was filled with fun moments.
Haldi
Sunkissed and adorned with quirky elements, the haldi had everyone unwinding after the rigorous festivities. Basking under Thailand’s clear, cloudless skies by the pool this event’s decor consisted of marigolds, rustic wooden baskets, brass urlis as the couple’s seats and larger-than-life daisy installations that created the perfect photo-op.
Wedding and Reception
Flanked by foamy waves, the wedding mandap looked picture-perfect. Hosted on the venue’s beachside lawns with a long chrome aisle crafted for Mrinali’s graceful bridal entry, the mandap followed a pink colour scheme. Additionally, its acrylic pillars ensured everyone a clear view of the wedding.
Following the almost sundowner wedding was an intimate reception where the couple celebrated the beginning of their new journey together.
