Nikhil Motwani, a fashion retail businessman, and Muskan Budhrani, a pastry chef and entrepreneur, first crossed paths in Mumbai in 2019 and have been inseparable ever since. When it came to their wedding, the couple envisioned a celebration that was stylish and meaningful. Wedding Planning
Muskan and Nikhil gravitated toward décor that felt versatile yet simple, with designs inspired by their everyday life and the quiet, cherished moments they’ve collected over the years. For the couple, choosing the right planners was pivotal. “We had meetings with a lot of planners, but we chose Mpire because they sounded incredibly confident about us bringing our own vendors”, shares Muskan. Wedding Functions
Mehndi
The Mehndi was a burst of vibrance – super fresh, floral, and fuss-free. Muskan envisioned hues of pink paired with vintage oxidised elements, resulting in décor that felt young, breezy, and full of joy.
Sangeet
For the Sangeet, the couple opted for an elegant palette anchored in a striking shade of green complemented with touches of white. The standout design element was the statement stage, a ‘broken Roman’-style structure that added drama and a sculptural quality to the evening. Under the lights, the stage created a cinematic backdrop for performances, heartfelt speeches, and the couple’s magical moments together.
Brunch
The hangover brunch unfolded like a cheerful picnic. Fresh fruits, bright tones, and charming accents made the space feel relaxed and sun-kissed. A playful fountain installation filled with champagne bottles quickly became the highlight of the décor, setting the mood for a leisurely afternoon of laughter, music, and easygoing conversations.
Wedding
For the wedding, Muskan had one clear vision: flowers, and only flowers. Every detail, from the elaborate table setups to the personalised place cards, from the ornate ceiling installations to the beautifully designed stationery, was thoughtfully curated and meticulously coordinated. The result was an ambience that felt lush, romantic, and intricately detailed, exactly as the bride had imagined.
