Nital first caught Varun’s eye while they both were in university and over time, they became friends and soon graduated to being deeply in love. This happy couple always wished to have a close-knit wedding surrounded by their loved ones, and the beautiful Arriba by the Sea made their dream come true with its scenic beauty.

How They Met
It all started at university when Nital’s curly mane caught Varun’s eye. And, sharing many smiles later, their relationship slowly blossomed into friendship. Seven years into being close friends, Varun took the plunge and decided to ask Nital out resulting in a first date at Windsor.

Wedding Venue
The couple were keen on a close-knit wedding which included their friends, family and a sunlit location that offered spectacular views. After months of research, they came across Arriba by the Sea which took their breath away with its magnificent views. From that moment on, they knew it was the perfect place for them to tie the knot.

Wedding Planning
Keeping in mind the colorful nature of Indian weddings, the duo decided to introduce the royal red color in their choice of color palette to contrast against the pristine blue backdrop. Maintaining their modern style and choices, they stuck to being minimal and yet stayed classy using pops of color wherever they could to accentuate the splendor of Indian weddings.

Ensuring that everything went seamlessly without any hiccup, were Lisbon Wedding Planners who got every detail right. Capturing the beautiful moments shared by the couple and their families was Portugal Wedding Photographer whose pictures aptly expressed every emotion felt at the nuptials. And for a wedding as beautiful as this, it was essential for the cuisine served to beoutstanding, a feast which was successfully executed by caterers Casa do Marques with their mouth-watering delights. Last but not the least, hairstylist Tania de Sousa worked her magic on the bride with a side-swept updo that complimented her gorgeous outfit perfectly.

Wedding Functions

Wedding
Minimalistic and elegant, this wedding was something else, as the couple kept frills to a minimum and let the scenic beauty of the venue do all the talking. Peppered with white and silver seating arrangements that complemented the beach backdrop, the couple stood out as they went about their rituals in traditional red. Nital glowed in a floral red and gold lehenga which she accessorized with a statement maang tika, necklace, and earrings. Matching with his lovely bride, Varun too opted for a red and gold sherwani which he paired with red velvet shoes.

Reception
For the reception, the couple cut a customary three-tiered cake and set the dancefloor ablaze with a romantic waltz. Keeping their minimalistic style in mind, the decor was an all-white theme with pops of red on each table.

The bride goes on to share, “The wedding reception party was unbelievable. Friends and family still reminisce and tell us that it was the best wedding celebration they have attended. Varun and his cousins surprised all guests with an electrifying dance to the tunes of retro favorite Michael Jackson, followed by Bruno Mars, and some hip-hop classics. We also loved the morning and evening photoshoots. Our photographer made us feel very comfortable, which allowed us to express freely.”

The happy bride sported a navy-blue gown with gold embroidery while the groom cut a dashing figure in a classic tuxedo.
