Palak and Shiven’s destination wedding in Bahrain was a grand three-day celebration planned seamlessly by WeddingSutra Favorite – Zesst Events and Weddings and beautifully photographed by WeddingSutra Favourite – Raabta Studios. Set against the luxurious backdrop of Sofitel Bahrain, the festivities brought together the essence of the three places closest to the couple, that is, Bahrain, Hong Kong, and Delhi.
Wedding Planning
With Zesst Events and Weddings at the helm, Raabta Studios capturing every moment, and emcee Chirag Vithlani steering the energy of the celebrations, Palak and Shiven’s wedding welcomed over 500 guests from around the world. “From the start, our priority was to honour the couple’s story while ensuring absolute comfort for every guest,” shares Aakash Doshi of Zesst Events and Weddings.
Across eight distinctive celebrations, the team executed international logistics, cross-cultural design, immersive entertainment, and luxury hospitality with precision. As Aakash adds, “Every detail was consciously curated to reflect the couple’s love for global influences while being rooted in emotion.”
Wedding Functions
Bahraini Welcome & Tiki Beach Sundowner Soirée
The celebrations opened with a warm Bahraini welcome, embracing guests into the cultural spirit of the destination. This was followed by a high-spirited Tiki Beach Sundowner, where tropical Tiki elements, sunset grooves, mixologists, customised lounges, and performances set the tone for the days ahead.
Haldi
A cheerful and colour-splashed Haldi ceremony brought together family traditions with coastal charm. Vibrant décor, yellow blooms, live percussion, and playful rituals turned the morning into a radiant celebration.
Beach Wedding
Palak and Shiven exchanged their vows at a breathtaking beachfront mandap as the sun met the sea. Wave-inspired décor, soft florals, and meaningful cultural rituals shaped a serene and romantic ceremony.
Reception
The evening reception unfolded as a chic black-and-white gala. The celebration featured performances, toasts, and elevated luxury experiences that carried the narrative from traditional warmth into contemporary elegance.
Sakura Afterparty
Inspired by the bride’s connection to Hong Kong, the Sakura-themed afterparty bloomed with vibrant design, neon accents, electric entertainment, and a spirited global nightlife vibe that kept the celebrations going into the night.
Bahraini Souk Carnival
A lively midday experience brought Bahrain’s cultural identity to life with souk-style décor, craft kiosks, regional gastronomy and carnival performers. It became a joyful celebration of heritage, community, and discovery.
Sangeet
The closing night channelled Delhi glamour through high-octane family performances, traditional elegance, and regal styling. The Sangeet honoured the groom’s roots, filling the evening with emotion, music, and unforgettable moments.
