How They Met
The couple shares, “Dhruv and my story began in the most unexpected yet beautiful way, through my cousin, who introduced us without knowing it would change our lives forever. I’m from Dubai, and he’s from Bombay, so what started as casual meetings soon turned into a heartfelt long-distance journey. Over the course of months, we found ourselves growing closer despite the miles, quietly building something meaningful while keeping our relationship low-key and close to our hearts.
Dhruv planned the most magical proposal at Il Borro, Italy. Surrounded by the romance of Tuscany, we celebrated our new chapter and spent an unforgettable week soaking in the joy of that moment.”

Wedding Planning
The couple shares, “Our wedding journey became a series of cherished celebrations across the world. We hosted a cocktail gathering in Tsinandali, Georgia, followed by an engagement celebration aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise in Singapore. Each destination reflected a different part of our story and our shared love for travel. On 12th February, our journey led us to the magnificent Umaid Bhawan Palace, where we finally said ‘I do’ surrounded by our loved ones. Every celebration, every destination, and every carefully planned moment was a reflection of who we are together.”

Thoughtfully curated by Event Casa and designed in collaboration with Konark Weddings, the celebrations were envisioned as an immersive experience rather than a series of standalone events. Each function carried a distinct narrative, blending Dubai’s refined luxury with Mumbai’s vibrant spontaneity. Ashi Tanwar and Shobhit Jain from Event Casa share, “When Rashi and Dhruv came to us, they described their vision through the lens of their cities. Dubai represented refinement, scale and luxury, while Mumbai brought energy, colour and a sense of spontaneity. Our planning approach focused on translating these contrasts into cohesive experiences that felt personal yet elevated.”

The happy couple was also impressed by the design team. They share, “Working with Konark Weddings was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding journey. From the very first conversation, their team understood our vision, our aesthetic and most importantly, our personalities. They did not just design décor, they translated our story into beautiful, immersive experiences. Their attention to detail and ability to elevate every brief were outstanding. The team was incredibly collaborative, calm under pressure, and always one step ahead, which allowed us to truly enjoy our celebrations stress-free. Seeing each venue come to life exactly as we had imagined, and honestly even better, was such a special moment for us.”

Sangeet
For the Sangeet, the iconic Mehrangarh Fort was transformed into a surreal ‘Frosted Fort Nights’ theme. Guests were led through an immersive journey of discovery, complete with igloos, interactive installations and a Northern Lights-inspired experience, before arriving at the main celebration. Ashi Tanwar and Shobhit Jain share, “This evening was conceptualised as a fully immersive experience rather than a single venue setup. We designed a progression of moments, using icy blues, frosted whites and shimmering silver to create a winter-inspired narrative. From crystal installations to mapped projections across the fort, every element was planned to build anticipation and create a sense of spectacle as the night unfolded.” The evening reached a crescendo with a performance by Bollywood singer B Praak, elevating the immersive experience further.

Wedding
Titled ‘Palatial Romance’, the wedding ceremony was a vision of timeless elegance. Set against the majestic backdrop of Umaid Bhawan Palace, the décor embraced a serene palette of ivory, blush, champagne and soft gold. “For the ceremony, our approach was to soften the scale of the palace while retaining its grandeur. By layering ivory tones, delicate florals, flowing drapes and crystal lighting, we created an atmosphere that felt intimate, romantic and seamlessly in harmony with the architecture,” share Ashi Tanwar and Shobhit Jain. With both families dressed in coordinated ivory, the setting felt harmonious and a perfect beginning to their forever. In a heartfelt touch, the couple ensured their beloved dogs were part of every celebration, woven into stationery, décor elements and even the bride’s kaleeras.
