Surrounded by the pristine mountainous vistas of Mussoorie, Richa Chandwani and Shivang Zaveri marked their journey of love with a beguiling destination wedding by WeddingSutra Favorite – The Doli Diary. Wedding Planning
Crafted with impressive floral decor in hues of white, the wedding ceremony was an ethereal sight to see! Plush arrangements of baby’s breath and foliage filled the space with an air of tranquility, perfectly complimenting the surrounding lush mountain views, while splashes of burnt orange, the groom’s favorite color, added warmth to the setting. The bride entered under a phoolon ki chadar made of baby’s breath while the groom arrived in a vintage car accompanied by his exuberant baraat. The couple exchanged their varmalas under a breathtaking setup of flowers and chandeliers that hung from the tree. The mandap saw a chic transparent crystal structure with a canopy of baby’s breath. Flanked by orange 3D peonies , it looked divine against the mountains beyond.

Wedding Functions
Welcome dinner
Imbued with vintage romance, the Welcome Dinner was adorned with red roses and soft amber lighting for a warm evening of celebrations. Marshmallows, hot cocoa and cozy sofas set a charming wintry ambience where everyone could relax and enjoy a night of games, music and mingling to kickstart the wedding festivities. The bride and groom matched the vibe of the evening in rose pink and black as they entered amidst a shower of rose petals.
Mehndi
The highly creative and quirky decor in bright hues of yellow and purple painted a vibrant picture against the mountain vistas for the Mehndi function. Bright blooms, crisscrossing overhead lines of tassels and unique table arrangements, all added to the lively vibe as everyone geared up to enjoy a morning of mehndi, games and music. The bride stole hearts in a gorgeous floral dress, while the groom looked breezy as can be in sky-blue as they waltzed in amidst a shower of bubbles.
Sangeet
The evening transitioned into retro glam with neon decor, a classic ‘rock-n-roll’ stage and an open amphitheater-style setup. Bright red, pink and purple took over the space, with magical lighting, neon signages, disco balls and more. The couple and their loved ones spent the evening performing dazzling dance numbers. The bride squad dedicated trendy Instagram dances to the bride receiving great applause before singer Stebin Ben took over the mike and awed the audience with his melodious tunes.
Haldi
The final day began with a Haldi ceremony at the venue’s stunning courtyard in true Marwari fashion with marigolds, Dhol beats and lively revelries. Platters and arrangements of yellow and orange marigolds adorned the space with pops of brightness, while the couple seating was a unique setup with a plush sofa nestled in a cluster of greens and blooms. The couple arrived with great pomp and splendor amidst a puff of Holi colors and music before heading to the Haldi ritual, where they were showered with flower petals.

The evening was full of emotions and love, brimming with special moments that the couple shared with their family and friends such as the groom’s dance with his mother and the bride’s dance with her father before taking the stage together as husband and wife.
