Wedding Functions
Haldi
Imagined with vibrant yellow, multicolored floral hues, and earthy accents, the Haldi function was an ode to traditional Telugu aesthetics. The decor setup was centered around a stunning structure made from dry grass, reminiscent of a rustic village mandap. This handwoven canopy, supported by bamboo pillars and decked with roses, jasmine, and chrysanthemums, set the stage for the couple’s Haldi rituals. Traditional ‘muggu’ designs were drawn on the ground to invoke a sense of prosperity and good fortune. Adding a bold and unique twist were strings of bright red chillies interspersed within the floral arrangements, symbolic of protection and tradition. Yellow-painted horns were thoughtfully placed around the venue, adding a playful and traditional element that further enhanced the rustic aesthetic.
Brass pots and vessels were artfully placed around the space, brimming with water and fresh petals. Their presence imbued the space with an air of heritage and tradition, harmonizing with the natural surroundings. To evoke a temple-like ambiance, brass bells were hung from red strings across the venue, paired with mango leaves to symbolize purity and prosperity. Yellow dominated the color scheme, symbolizing the joy of new beginnings, while pops of red, orange, and green from the flowers and chillies created a vibrant, lively atmosphere.
The bride and groom themselves were a picture of joy and tradition. The groom was dressed in a bright yellow Rajasthani-style kurta with intricate patterns, while the bride complimented him beautifully in an off-white lehenga, the simplicity of her attire elevated by oxidized jewelry that added a vintage, earthy charm. As the couple sat under the canopy for their Haldi rituals, surrounded by their loved ones, every element, from the flowers and chillies to the brass pots and muggu, came together to create an atmosphere of tradition, joy, and warmth, set against the breathtaking tropical beauty of Bali.
Welcome Dinner
The evening unfolded with an enchanting welcome dinner. Embracing a bohemian theme infused with authentic Balinese elements, the atmosphere was designed to be both relaxing and intimate. The decor featured a soothing color palette of soft whites and blush pinks, with elegant white table linens setting the stage. Each table, set with pristine white linen, was adorned with intricate pink floral arrangements of roses, peonies, and tropical blooms native to Bali. Complementing this delicate setup were beige wooden chairs to add a rustic, earthy touch to the overall aesthetic.
At the entrance, guests were greeted by a wall titled “Hum Saath Saath Hain,” where photos of their own wedding days were hung, instead of framed pictures. This thoughtful gesture evoked a deep sense of connection and nostalgia, allowing each guest to feel personally involved in the couple’s celebration. In one corner of the venue, an informal Mehndi event was set up, where guests got their hands adorned with beautiful designs while enjoying the laid-back ambiance of the evening. As the sun began to set, the venue transformed into a glowing oasis with soft fairy lights draped overhead, intertwined with greenery and floral garlands, casting a warm, ethereal glow over the dinner tables. Flickering candles in glass votives lined the pathways and tables, adding to the dreamy atmosphere.
Traditional Balinese dancers, dressed in vibrant costumes, performed graceful routines, mesmerizing guests with their elegance. The highlight of the night was an exhilarating fire dance performance, where skilled dancers wielded flames with precision and artistry, lighting up the night sky and leaving guests in awe.
Sangeet
The couple brought a burst of Indo-Western nostalgia to their Bali wedding with a stylish, vintage-inspired Sangeet. The striking color palette of rich reds was balanced by deep greens, with elements of nostalgia woven into every corner of the venue. Candles scattered across the space cast a warm glow, with LED candles arranged in clusters atop vintage-style props. The combination of dim lighting and flickering flames created an almost magical ambiance.
Old-world charm was introduced through timeless details like aged sewing machines, typewriters, and stacks of old books that evoked memories of a bygone era, blending the past with the festive energy of the evening. The grand yet subtle chandeliers added a layer of elegance, making the space feel both luxurious and homey.
A highlight of the evening was the LED screen playing iconic retro songs that set the perfect mood for the night. From classic Bollywood hits to timeless tunes, the playlist took guests on a musical journey. Positioned at the heart of the stage, the screen provided a mesmerizing backdrop as the bride and groom took to the dance floor. The bride wore a dazzling lehenga in vivid shades of orange, red, and green, and the groom complemented her vibrant energy in a sleek green and black sherwani. The dance floor, surrounded by candlelight and chandeliers, became a lively hub of celebration. With each song, the energy grew, and the couple, along with their guests, immersed themselves in the music, making memories to last a lifetime.
Wedding
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Bali’s pristine seashore, the wedding was a dreamscape of grandeur and romance. Just feet from the waves was the magical mandap decorated with an abundance of flowers, a vision in pink with a soft, romantic aesthetic that perfectly complemented the natural beauty surrounding it. Delicate blooms like roses and tropical orchids cascaded gracefully over the structure, which was made with crystal beams for an elegant, transparent look. Beneath the mandap, thoughtful details added layers of cultural significance. Brass items imparted a regal touch, while coconut offerings blended seamlessly with the floral palette, honoring the couple’s roots while maintaining a light and airy feel.
The bride looked radiant in a striking orange Kanchipuram saree, beautifully contrasting the soft hues of the decor. The groom complemented her sophistication in a crisp white sherwani, accented with an elegant pearl set that provided a subtle hint of luxury.
The celebration began with a lively baraat, complete with a DJ truck that pumped out a mix of Telugu, Hindi, and English dhol beats. The groom made a stylish entry in a vintage car, his family joyfully dancing alongside him. As the sun began to set, the entire venue was bathed in the soft glow of fading light, enhancing the magical ambiance. The sky turned shades of pink and orange, mirroring the decor as the couple exchanged their vows. The ceremony culminated in a grand finale of fireworks lighting up the night sky, their brilliant colors reflecting off the ocean waves.
Wedding Dinner
The post-wedding dinner was a perfect blend of rustic charm and tropical elegance, offering an unforgettable evening that felt both intimate and grand. Twinkling fairy lights strung above cast a soft, magical glow, delicately illuminating the lush surroundings. Real fruits like pineapples, oranges, and coconut, and colorful local flowers featured prominently in the entrance display and as table centerpieces, adding a unique touch.
The rustic theme was enhanced by wooden chairs that contrasted beautifully with the bright fruits and flowers. A standout feature of the decor was a beautifully crafted board placed at the entrance, highlighting all the places the couple had visited together. Each table was named after one of these destinations, accompanied by a small message and a picture of the couple from that location. This personal touch not only celebrated their journey as a couple but also sparked conversations among guests, enhancing the intimate atmosphere.
Too Wild Party
A complete contrast to the serene and elegant wedding dinner, the wild party that followed was a night of unrestricted energy and fun. The venue was transformed into a vibrant, pulsating space, lit up in bold shades of blue and green, with flashes of gold lights adding a glamorous touch to the atmosphere. Disco balls hung from the ceilings, reflecting light in dazzling patterns, while party spotlights swept across the dance floor.
Adding to the party’s energy was the couple’s stunning choice of attire. The bride rocked a bold and modern look with a red crop top and skirt, adorned with intricate gold embroidery that shimmered under the party lights. The groom complemented her perfectly in a red shirt with gold embroidery, paired stylishly with white pants.
The decor perfectly captured the essence of a wild, carefree celebration. Neon signs and LED screens flickered in the background, setting the mood for an unforgettable night of dancing and revelry. The lively mix of colors, lights, and reflective surfaces made the entire space feel like a chic nightclub, transporting guests into a world of excitement and rhythm.
