Helming the planning front was The Doli Diary who with their design expertise and vast network, ensured the couple’s vision came to life. Understanding the couple’s minimalistic aesthetic and pairing it up with subtle glamour – they orchestrated a wedding that looked right in place at the palatial venue.
Wedding Functions
Welcome
The festivities started off with a welcome party where the guests were given a refreshing welcome upon arrival. With folk dancers performing live and traditional music tunes in the air, the guests had a gala time as they sipped on delicious drinks and mingled freely.
Mehendi
Neha Wadhawan from The Doli Diary shares, “Sachi and Arpit’s mehndi was a vivid one. The floral arrangement gave the open-air venue a natural feel and filled the air with fragrance. The couple was keen on every event looking sophisticated and this was exactly that with a touch of desi color!”
Welcome Dinner
After Sachi’s mehndi, a sundowner welcome dinner was hosted where a boho theme dominated the decor. Jinal Patel from The Doli Diary shares, “This one was for the books! The boho dinner just fell perfectly in place with its macrame elements, ivory mesh work furnishings, pampas grass and tepees. The cosy atmosphere and the drinks only added to the magic.”
Haldi
Staying in sync with tradition, the haldi decor consisted of pink, orange and yellow hues. Marigold blooms took a front seat in the decor while sunflowers by the poolside exuded a merry vibe. Brass urlis, a vast dancefloor and suspended garlands from the ceiling added a generous dollop of color to the celebrations and the phoolon ki holi.
Sangeet
Neha shares, “Ardent admirers of Bollywood, the couple hosted a filmy sangeet for their guests where they danced to their favorite tunes. Their loved ones took part just as eagerly by setting the stage on fire with their moves. Retro elements, like a vintage telephone and arches with light bulbs gave the look of a retro Bollywood night.”
Wedding
Jinal shares, “Under the sunny skies of Udaipur with the Aravalli range in the backdrop, Sachi and Arpit tied the knot. Every detail was carefully curated with scarlet roses adorning the mandap, the chrome floor of the mandap that mirrored the blue sky above and the translucent red drapes that sheltered the guests.”
Reception
Making a dashing entrance with a blast of firecrackers and walking down the palatial steps hand-in-hand, the couple’s reception kicked off in style. As everyone revelled under the stars, vintage bulbs lit up the venue while the guests relished local delicacies by the pool.”
