How They Met
Sanjika and Keshav are childhood friends whose bond was forged in the innocence of youth. As they grew older, life led them on separate paths, each carving their own destiny in distant lands. Little did they know that fate had other plans, patiently waiting to reunite them in the most unexpected of ways.
Wedding Venue
KNCC in Agra played host to the couple’s cocktail party. Located ten minutes away from the iconic Taj Mahal, the venue boasts sprawling lawns and multiple banquet halls where Sanjika and Keshav’s dreams came to life. Well-connected, vast and offering multiple amenities, this venue was perfect for the couple’s grand celebration.
Wedding Planning
Ajay and Purvi Modgil from F5 Weddings share “Sanjika and Keshav wanted their wedding in all aspects to be a reflection of their personalities to have the emotions towards it, not just for themselves but their guests too. We made sure to do just that for them. This larger-than-life wedding in Agra welcomed over 800 guests across all functions and over 2000 guests at the Sangeet. We took pride in designing, planning, and flawlessly executing this magnificent celebration, creating unforgettable memories for everyone involved. With the couple’s priority on guest entertainment, we ensured a stellar lineup of artists for every function, managing logistics and fulfilling all requirements seamlessly. From small to grand events, every moment was filled with captivating performances, delighting guests throughout the celebration. Innovatively enhancing guest experience, we replaced traditional room hampers with DIY hampers, allowing guests to curate their delights at their convenience. This thoughtful touch was embraced by guests, providing them with personalised enjoyment throughout their stay. From fun stalls at the Mehendi to surprise dances and a grand entry at their cocktail with a towering champagne display, we ensured every small detail added extra sparkle to the festivities, creating unforgettable moments throughout the celebration.”
Wedding Functions
Mehendi
Inspired by the concept of an Italian brunch, the mehndi was the first event that was relaxing yet fun. Ajay and Purvi share, “We combined rich blue and yellow hues with lightweight linens and geometric patterns. Lemon motifs were key to executing this theme! We amped the venue with real lemons as centrepieces, and long wooden tables and created a limoncello favor wall for guests!”
Sangeet
Glitz and glam dominated the sangeet celebrations where both the families basked under the spotlight and gave some amazing dance performances. A mix of boho-chic decor and a multitude of flashing lights paved the way for an evening filled with dance, drinks and fun.
Cocktail
“The cocktail party was pure elegance! From large chandeliers, elegant lounge seating, grand mirror top tables with heavy floral work to a live band – everything was perfection! With over 200 lights creating an enchanting ambience, it is safe to say that each guest was left awed”, share Ajay and Purvi.
Wedding
“Since the wedding venue was in Agra, a regal wedding was on the cards. However, the couple also wanted to retain their sleek style. As a result, we orchestrated a pink, white and green design with brass accents, Honoring the bride’s lifelong friendships, her breathtaking entry featured all 20 bridesmaids donning matching ivory sarees, while she adorned a traditional red lehenga, creating a visually stunning and sentimental moment. This thoughtful gesture highlighted the bond with her childhood friends, adding an extra layer of emotional resonance to the occasion. The varmala exchange took place by the Ganga river with chants and a Ganga Aarti”, recollect Ajay and Purvi.
