For their wedding, Sehaj and Harsimhar wanted a celebration that felt deeply emotional and meaningful, yet visually breathtaking—where every ritual, every space, and every moment told their story in a refined and elevated way. The couple drew inspiration from the elegance of royal courts, soft musical interludes, and intimate family traditions, and WeddingSutra Favorite – Man With A Plan, who planned and executed this vision, wove these elements into a flowing narrative that unfolded across the palaces of Udaipur and the shimmering waters of Lake Pichola.

Jaideep Singh of Man with the Plan, says, “The brief was to design a three-night, four-day celebration for 400 guests that unfolded like a curated journey from intimate lakeside ceremonies to grand palace soirées. Our responsibility was to create an experience where each guest felt part of something rare and magical, ultimately delivering a wedding that was not just beautiful, but truly unforgettable for the city of Udaipur. Every creative detail—from colour palettes and floral tones to cuisine and artist curation—was guided by the theme of regal intimacy.”
Artistes such as Navraj Hans, Simar Kaur and Wajahat Hasan brought soul and emotion into the celebrations. The result was a wedding that didn’t just look spectacular—it felt like stepping into a beautifully re-imagined era, where love, heritage, and artistry came together in perfect harmony.
The Wedding Functions
The Shikhara Photoshoot
The celebrations began with a sun-washed, intimate pre-wedding gathering at the legendary Taj Lake Palace, where the couple enjoyed a private shikara photoshoot—transforming Lake Pichola into their personal fairytale backdrop.
Jaimala
One of the most touching moments of the wedding was during the Jashn-e-Baraat and Jaimala Night, when the bride and her brother surprised everyone with live performances, creating an atmosphere so emotional and electric that it became one of the most remembered moments of the entire celebration.
Wedding
The serenity of the following morning’s Anand Karaj offered a beautiful contrast. Set against soft lavender florals and gentle morning light, it felt deeply spiritual and profoundly moving.
The most meaningful of these moments unfolded after the Anand Karaj. While the couple had simply envisioned a beautifully decorated boat to take them across the lake, they were in for a surprise. A specially styled boat carried them from the iconic Taj Lake Palace to The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur, but what truly made the moment extraordinary was what awaited them on arrival—every family member gathered at the jetty, waving, smiling, and welcoming them with love, emotion, and blessings.
