Wedding Functions
Welcome Lunch
The festivities began on a vibrant note with a lively welcome lunch hosted by the poolside. The guests arrived to a true Rajasthani welcome with women dancing the Ghoomar, Dhol Nagaras and elephants. The bride and groom’s families dressed in hues of pink which beautifully complemented the decor with floral elements and arrangements made from lemons. Beautiful floral decorations decked every corner including the bar. After lunch, everyone got grooving to DJ Perisha’s tunes for a poolside party.
Sangeet
The glitz and glamor of high tempo Sangeet festivities continued in the grand ballroom. Gleaming LED decor set the party mood for a night of dancing and musical revelry which began with some filler performances. The couple’s entry on a romantic number was followed by their solo and family performances. Singer Sukhbir Singh exuberantly brought the house down with his peppy Punjabi numbers.
Mehndi
Hawa Mahal, the beautiful terrace venue with startling views of the surrounding mountains was the perfect spot for the Mehndi function. The vibrant colorful decor stood out against the intricate white architecture of the space. Bright floral arrangements in vases and baskets, eclectic props, quirky poufs and other seating options dotted the area. A special highlight was the Magical Painting Portrait where everyone wrote their messages for the couple, and once the whole canvas was filled, it turned into a beautiful portrait of the Couple. Mehndi artists, foot masseurs and an illusionist to interact and entertain the guests, all added to the fun of the occasion. The guests enjoyed delicious food and drinks as they took in the beautiful view and the melodious tunes of Singer Bhaven Dhanak & his team. The couple entered dancing to the beats of Dhol wallas and were joined by their families and friends on the stage as they danced to their heart’s content.
Cocktail
The cocktail night in the grand ballroom saw whimsical jungle-themed revelries. A glorious canopy of thick tropical foliage interspersed with glittering chandeliers, earthy wooden elements, LEDs and animal prints created a magical atmosphere. The island bar was lit with animal-themed and floral decor, couple hashtags, a personalized drinks menu & funky coasters. Everyone grooved to the tunes of the talented DJ Aqeel Ali.
Bride’s Haldi
The next morning began with an intimate Haldi function for the bride with her close friends and family. Pretty spring hues and floral decor combined with traditional vases and other elements in blue and white for a serene ambience. The ceremony was followed by a poolside brunch as everyone relaxed and got ready for the wedding.
Wedding
Accompanied by the tunes of DJ Lemon, the groom’s Safa ceremony & Baarat kickstarted the wedding revelries even as his baaratis enjoyed with Dhol beats and a mobile bar. A huge Baraat Truck was customized with the wedding logo & hashtag with DJ Lemon & Percussionist Dhruv (Mr. Probeat) performing to it. The groom arrived in a royal vintage car and was welcomed by the Bride’s side of the family.
The wedding was planned in rich traditional hues of red, white and gold with flowers, candles, diyas and other decadent elements. Accompanied by Rajasthani dancers, the bride arrived in a traditional Doli decorated with flowers, following her friends and family who walked ahead holding diyas. As fireworks went off in a glittering milieu, the couple exchanged garlands in a traditional Jharokha.
The groom looked princely as he walked down the regal courtyard steps towards the mandap amidst a display of fireworks, while the bride entered with folk dancers dancing around her. She then walked towards the Mandap under a Phoolon ki Chadar with her parents & sister. Sangeeta Muley & team performed for the wedding ceremony & phera geet. The ceremony was followed by 3 minutes of nonstop fireworks that concluded with a rocking after-party.
